    Redcar Bears 2014.

Yeah right, more rumour and speculation, not so much as a fact in sight.

    Redcar Bears 2014.

In a pay by performance, related sport. I don't believe average fixing, is anywhere near as prevalent as you make out. If you think, Jason Lyons would deliberately underperform and stop money from going into his pocket, then you want your bumps feeling. Egg had it bang on right. After several conversations with Jason, I know he was very concerned, about getting his bikes to work, with the new silencers. He obviously cracked it, because he had some inspired meetings, for Redcar and Newcastle. Sorry if that blows a hole, in your wildly dreamt up conspiracy theory.

    Redcar Bears 2014.

Yeah, but Spinny, that's no excuse for making wild accusations, (based on his own dreamed up theories as usual), about a widely respected performer, such as Jason Lyons.

God you take "talking bollocks" to a whole new level.

    Redcar Bears 2014.

Nobody said they needed to throw cash about all over the place. They don't maximise what they have got, or show any initiative to project the business. Have you ever heard the saying "pennywise, pound foolish" or even "speculate to accumulate" and you are right the club could go belly up. Unless someone wakes up and smells the coffee, shows some initiative, it will be a slowly strangulating, lingering death.

    King's Lynn Stars 2014

Does'nt Bech, ride for the same team as NKI (Esbjerg) in Denmark.

    Redcar Bears 2014.

Sadly Mr M, what you say is true. It is produced on a shoe string, with no thought given to packaging or marketing. It's all pretty one dimensional stuff really.

    Redcar Bears 2014.

Because of his skinflint, pennypinching ways, which always seem, to put a black cloud over everything. Treats the fans and the riders with contempt. I know many riders who do not like doing business with him. If you think he's so good, you have him, promote for you. I don't think there would be much opposition from Redcar fans.

Don't care what the team is, as long as Havelock has nowt to do with it. Senior that is.

    Bears Vs Rebels 03/09/13 7:30pm

Think it's all academic really. The Rebs should win or at least get a point out of it. It won't go down to race points.

Wilko has also sorted out his gremlins. Looked great now he is back on the GM.
  12. Yes and he is currently on an all time low of 6.52, but I believe during the playoffs he will make a mockery of that figure.
  13. Could be he is fighting the bike to get something out of it. You have to have, the right tools for the job. Lets see how it pans out eh.
  14. Redcar racer, you seem very misinformed, especially where Ulrich is concerned. I have never known him make any plea's to the Redcar public for money. Any monies have come from himself or team Motive. Ulrich, has this year, been badly let down by the engines that have been produced for him. Hopefully, now with a new tuner, he will be able to give a good account of himself. In my opinion, if Ulrich was on good equipment, I would have him in my team in a heartbeat.

    Berwick 2014?

I believe Mickey, has been very homesick, in the last half of the season. Rode a lot of meetings, possibly feeling speedwayed out.
  16. Has anyone got a link for this.
  17. Well Scarra, last week it was like being in a time warp and being transported back to the time of Glyn Taylor. I just hope it wasn't a one off. I see on the Bears official website, that Ryan Douglas guests at reserve for the Lions. Does the 8 day ruling not come into play here, as he was here with Scunthorpe last week. Is there a different rule for reserves.
  18. Apparantly, a possibility of rain on Thursday. Hope not, because if the track is as good as last week, this will be a cracker. When it is in good nick, Redcar is one of the most spectacular and fastest little tracks around. Plenty of the Lions team have had good meetings at Redcar.
  19. Apparently boz, Graham Trollope, (trackman at Sheffield/Scunny) has been down at the track for a few day's during the week. Hence the improvement.
  20. Have to think, that the state of the track, will be the deciding factor, in this match. If it's dry and rougher than a rhino's ar$e, then the Diamonds should come out on top. This would leave the Bears riders, very despondent and disillusioned. However a decent track, (something of a rarity at Redcar)and we might have a cracking match on our hands.

    Redcar V Ipswich Pl 4/7/13

Back on thread. I really fancy the witches for this one. They have several riders, who go better at Redcar, than they probably do at the Foxhole. Lanham, Tungate and even Risager, have all had good meetings there. Key will be how Hawkins, Heeps and Ellis go, (if Hawkins gets 4 or 5 points that would be a significant contribution from him, at Redcar). Ben Barker is always capable of winning races at Redcar. Hope we get the track right at the first time of asking and should be a tight, close encounter.

    Redcar V Scunthorpe - Ko Cup 13/6/13

You may not be far from the truth and that's no joke. Redcar Racer you need pay Ben Dufill a visit. The shower(heavy though it was)lasted 20mins tops and don't come that old chestnut about the threat of rain,(that's Havelock speak for lets save some money on water)and no excuse for crap racing and covering the punters with dust. If you think it was an alright track, I suggest you ask the riders and cover your ears quickly. For PVM's benefit, the trackman worked hard and long after the meeting (probs an hour)and pulled everything back. Right to the base (which wasn't far), but it's what he does before the meeting starts that makes the difference. I have long held the view (even when Tony Swales did the track) that the only good race surfaces at Redcar, were when mother nature intervened and dumped a load of water on the track the day before. As as happened recently.
