The poll is rather unfair, my option would have been No, I feel there's better out there. Don't get me wrong Batch is a good rider, is a good captain probably not, is he a good number 1 definitely not

Belle Vue V Wolves 16-07-14
FrankThePug replied to Phil The Ace's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Surely he is letting the team down by missing two meetings for a playoff chasing team who is both Number 1 and Captain for, call me cynical if you must but a captain of a side should not pick and choose when he races because he's a little tired Apart from the press release saying he had medical advice and fair enough it might be speculative to say the doctors have signed him off but If he hasn't then you don't get a facility for a rider who is effectively withholding his services -

I can understand Tai's decision to take time out but it does sound rather suspicious. He went to do the doctors in Sweden on Tuesday morning and was signed off yet rode in a meeting in the evening, surely this makes the certificate void since he's gone against it immediately. Woffy has had a hectic schedule in Cardiff, Poland, Wolves, Sweden but isn't that the same for the majority of the Grand Prix riders in riding absolutely everywhere yet they don't have a problem. As people have said before I think if Tai is going to take time out then he should take the rest of the season out to properly recharge himself and start again in 2015 -
I'm sure some have, unfortunately we have some "true" fans who are blinkered with the rose tinted spectacles and will obviously change there mind. I for one said we deserved to lose that meeting and we've deserved to lose meetings that we have lost, I however do not feel BV showed anything to claim a point tonight

I've got no problem with the Coventry meeting we lost it fair and square, if it weren't for the crash to Darryl we would have lost it in 15 heats and frankly you questioning my integrity is rather insulting and totally unfair
-
Everyone also appears to have missed the part where 7 time British Champion Scott Nicholls said that the track was dangerous to ride on and visibility was poor, then two heats later at the next check all of a sudden it was fantastic and we should finish the meeting. As to the suggestion Swindon cheated I refer people back to the Coventry meeting last month when the exact same situation happened, team in front doesn't want to ride, team that's behind does and all the fans kick off later about it on the forum. All in all Belle Vue got what they deserved out of the meeting which was nothing, Cook was abysmal and the rest were pretty average yet we are to believe that the weather has screwed them out of a point, na not buying it all just sour grapes
