Sadly the whole meeting is so far but the track is disgraceful! Ipswich's middle string riders are going to let the team down tonight unless they buck their ideas up (mind you Riss is having a good night with 2 points which must be somewhere near his top score for the last three months!!!) 48-42 I predict which won't be enough for Ipswich.

This meeting will be about the biggest FARCE in the history of televised speedway!! Will only go to heat 10, wouldn't normally be racing in those condo and the result is a foregone conclusion before it even started! From the sublime (Monday) to the ridiculous (tonight) both extremes of this sport on show in just three days!

Well done Ipswich, Emil and Jason showed their true class in that race when the chips were well and truly down. Brilliant nights entertainment.

Someone really needs to give Bewley a big kick up the backside and withhold his pay for his embarrassing efforts tonight! It's seems he can't be arsed with British speedway anymore and clearly is (and has been all season) using his second or third choice machinery for Belle Vue. Embarrassing.

You are correct, Cardiff is, most years, the most over hyped and boring GP of the year, so last night's "decent" GP made a pleasant change from the rubbish we normally get. The racing WOULD be 10 times better at Belle Vue but sadly, quality exciting racing isn't the main concern of the GP series anymore, even more so when it comes to the British GP, it's all about the "glitz and glamour", as you say.

After a few years of UTTER DROSS at Cardiff (as evidenced by the crowd size), last night was much improved and it seems like they have survived the last chance saloon, to go again next year! Hopefully it will be even better next year and not back to what we had suffered previously!! Well done to Vaculik, he could be the main challenger to BS for the title next season (unless the Ruskies are back of course!)

Might be a bit late to the party but discovered (sic) that on Discovery+ you can turn off the commentary and just have the ambient sound instead. Was the most enjoyable coverage I've seen for a long time watching it that way!!

Great meeting last night, more than made up for the very poor semi’s and run offs earlier in the week. GB came so close but were let down by “Mr Ego” and the Danes did far better than I thought too (also let down by their Mr Ego!!!!) We should have this format every year, not just once in three i.m.o.

What a complete and utter load of CRAP this is. Has Cardiff got a serious rival for the worst GP track ever?! People who have paid money for this rubbish deserve a full refund and then some, as means of compensation for having to sit through that!!
