British Speedway is currently in the position where all the dodgy deals, cartels and illegal ways of working over the years have almost killed the sport. I believe that transparency is the way forward and that by the fans knowing how the sport works and operates it may actually get the sport breathing again. It's not got many more chances. In the modern day transparency in most operations is absolutely key. Didn't catch your name Mr Sensible.

Last time it meant the site had been suspended because there were 27 visitors to the page, causing global concern to all sorts of websites...... Interesting that it's a different firm and admin behind it this time. Perhaps AP Media have been given the push? Bextec.co.uk this time is the listed admin David Green, based in Heckmondwike?

Suspended by .....? And at a time that was considered most damaging. No doubt you will claim it's this supposed third party (not the administrator detailed on the holding page that was displayed) that decided if a suspension was required and at what time to commence it. We must also assume that the problems you have alleged were fixed for that suspension to have been lifted too? Yet the site still seems to be experiencing problems. Why then wouldn't the same suspension have been put into practice again, and why was it ever lifted....

But again. It was fine a few hours earlier with 10 times as many visitors per hour. Maybe that's looking at it too basically? It's like saying we can fit 200 people in a room at 12 pm but at 7pm when the Brummies site might have a good news story, we can only fit 20 in.

Th facts don't lie. 10 x the traffic and it's all ok, then it's that very moment it becomes an issue and the sites taken offline. People can see through your nice story. Full credit for backing your mate up though. Can't fault your misguided loyalty.

No idea what today's issues are on the Brummies website, hopefully the webmaster will clarify, but the facts last time were really straight forward. The allegedly poorly coded Brummies website could manage 200+ visitors in an hour at lunch time but 'somebody' decided that as the Brummies reached the playoff finals, that 27 visitors in an hour was far too many and the website may crash the whole of British Speedway, possibly the UK government or even bring the whole world to a standstill. Even though a few hours earlier 10 times as much traffic didn't have that same impact...... Smells too me, smells beefy, bit of Bullie I would say! Even the poorest hosting company should be able to cope with 27 visitors an hour working out of their bedroom.....

Andy Povey, please explain the logic behind your decision to remove the Brummies website on the clubs biggest night in many many years. Now that the stats prove your original explanation was a complete lie. You advised Brummies management it was due to the increase in traffic yet 27 visitors seems very small to me. Or are your systems are simply not up to scratch? My opinion is it was a spiteful act to deliberately damage the club based solely on your poor relationship with them after they decided not to use your services this year after getting too big for your boots.

It stinks, I believe you acted maliciously at a time to cause maximum impact and disruption to the club, spiteful only because Birmingham speedway didn't accept your demands earlier in the year and parted company with you. Understood that bit Bwitcher but the info on post 294 was suggesting the website is strong enough coding not be a problem with increased traffic. But that's the argument from what I can understand... The truth will come out eventually but whether it will be broadcast is a different story! Bazzzycat seems to know more than they let on but also contradict themselves? Unless I read it wrong?
