    Darcy Ward

What is the most likely route for Darcy back into the GPs? Assuming he wants to return

    Riga Gp Tickets 2014

Taxis are cheap if you get the right one. Jump in a 'Panda' taxi, journey should not cost more than 5 euros.

    Riga Gp Tickets 2014

Taxis in Riga: All the taxis have their prices printed on the side of the vehicle. By far the cheapest are 'Panda' taxis. They can be up to 300% cheaper than some of the other firms. Buses, trams, trolleys: These are a set fair of 1.50 euros I think payable to the driver, however 98% of passengers buy travel cards at one of the many 'Narvessen' newsagents. 3.6 euros for 5 rides, 5.6 euros for 10 rides approx. The tickets are valid for all 3 forms of transport. When you board the vehicle you must scan your card immediately on one of the scanners on the bus. There are inspectors who board the transport to check tickets have been scanned and they have a reputation for being aggresive if you have not paid.
  5. I have decided to do away with the TV in my house as I only really want it to watch the Speedway GPs. Anyone know a pub or club showing the GPs in bristol. I know there is a Bristol Bulldogs Supporters Club, do these guys watch the GPs in a bar locally? Thanks in advance

    Riga Gp Tickets 2014

Will they charge extra for the hand to be posted due to the extra weight!
  7. Barry Briggs was a 4! time world champion but I would dispute his right to a wild card.
  8. I am looking for a lift to this event form Bristol. Willing to share fuel costs
  9. Anyone going from Bristol. Willing to share fuel costs.
  10. I Went to all the SWC meetings in 2004. The first 2 rounds at Eastbourne were very badly attended even with GB racing. I would guess less than 1,000 for one of the meetings. On another point I personally very much enjoyed going to all meetings and seeing the event form begining to end and would do the same again it event was held in 1 country. Re seeding and hots participation my answer would be to host the week long tournament in the country of the holders (not Aus) and seed them to the final.
  11. I have spent a lot of time in Latvia. Riga is a very nice capital city, but nothing much happens outside of it. Duagavpils (where the GP is) is about a 3 hour drive from Riga. It is Latvia's 2nd biggest city and is on the other side of the country. Daugavpils is basically a city being dragged kicking and screaming out of the Soviet era. It is inhabited by 90% Russians hardly anyone speaks Latvian, it is dull and grey and all the roads are straight and dimly lit and night. But I found it culturally interesting. However the rough guide to Latvia described it as a 'pathetic excuse for a tourist destination'. good luck

If the attendance was 46,000 (quite possible). The Stadium would be be nowhere near full, yet it would be the biggest crowd for a speedway meeting anywhere in the world for 32 years (1981 .Wembley?). That would not be embarrasing
  13. The capacity for Speedway is 62,000. I think the largest attendance so far has been 43,000. For the first time since I have been going to The millenium there is a British rider in contention. This has led to me for the first time buying tickets in advance as there is a possibility that the cheap seats will sale out. I will be surprised if the attendance does not exceed 43,000.
  14. I have seen this situation somewhere before: All right, settle down, settle down. Now before I begin the lesson will those of you who are playing in the match this afternoon move your clothes down on to the lower peg immediately after lunch before you write your letter home, if you're not getting your hair cut, unless you've got a younger brother who is going out this weekend as the guest of another boy, in which case collect his note before lunch, put it in your letter after you've had your hair cut, and make sure he moves your clothes down onto the lower peg for you
