    Poole 2018

Well, you’re a Poole sponsor, aren’t you, with direct access to the club, so why not give Matt Ford a call today and tell us what he says? To the speedway world it seems that he doesn’t care one bit about a rider who broke his leg riding for the club!

Well done. Good to see someone making the effort. What has Matt replied to your proposal?

    Poole 2018

How much has the “robust support infrastructure” at Poole raised for Stefan Nielsen?

    Race for the Top 4

    That might just be right!

    Wolves v Leicester 6/8/18

A second string? In this league? Scott won’t be that before he’s fifty!
  6. Just a small thing, but how about allowing each team two proper practice heats before the match starts? That would help with set ups, identify any track problems and allow the shale to move out a little for better racing.
  7. Surely it’s gotta be a home win against the Championship Select side?

    Poole 2018

Have Poole collected any money for Stefan Nielsen? Just asking .......... again.

    Poole 2018

until you exchanged them for euros
  10. This looks a really attractive match with two strong, full strength teams. I bet it’s a cracker 49-41.
  11. Hmmmm .... think you’ll find Poole were supporting every other club until they signed their latest round of ringers!

    Poole 2018

Good point. Let me have the stats for Poole collecting for their assets who were injured riding for other clubs and I’ll shame Rosco.
  13. Ah, multi-tasking: “doing several things badly”.
  14. Leicester have the upper hand - they can track this season’s 12 riders against Poole’s meagre 11! #Poole46.5ish

    Wolves 2018

Thorsell and Schlein are two number ones if you have one league!

    Poole 2018

Have Poole actually collected nothing for Stefan in the two months since he broke his leg riding for you?
  17. I’m glad I don’t pay your wages: you don't work, you’re always on here! #Poole46.5ish
  18. You’re missing the whole point, which is that Swindon have their original 42.5 point team while Poole have a 44.74 one, based on the season’s starting averages. #Poole46.5ish
  19. No, you have to look at Richie’s end of 2017 average. #Poole46.5ish.
  20. Just corrected them for you. 44.74 total #Poole46.5.

    Wolves 2018

Why would it not be? They are staying loyal to the other riders. Good for Wolves.
  22. I agree, Poole have done nothing wrong, but what they have done is unfair so I am proposing a new rule to ensure fairness. #Poole46.5
  23. 46.5 is the total of your current team’s average from the start of year greensheets. While it may be acceptable to allow a rubbish team to continually rebuild to 42.5 on rolling averages, it should also be acceptable for any team that has retained its original seven to rebuild to the starting average that the rubbish team has now assembled (on the proviso that they cannot build to more than Poole’s 46.5 by using only riders that have improved their averages). That would be fair. Swindon, for example, could take their team’s original starting average of 42.24, take out Mitchell Davey’s average of 2.31 (as Smith was an injury replacement), leaving 39.93 and replace Smith with another rider with an original starting average of 46.5 - 39.93 = 6.57 (provided he has not increased it beyond 6.57). So, to equal what Poole have done, Swindon should be allowed to replace Smith with Milik, Michelsen, Lahti, Kennett, Hougard, Barker or Pieszczek That would be fair. #Poole46.5 keep the campaign going lads.

    Swindon Robins 2019

Thanks, Matt. Have the developers complied with those conditions? If not, the Council should have sought an injunction preventing the occupation of more than 200 houses. And potential buyers could have been put on notice in the local search. The Council has done that before, regarding the construction of a footbridge across Thamesdown Drive.
  25. Yes, it is, but it shouldn’t be. Swindon and Wolves were built to 42.5 and haven’t been able to change because they chose well and have done well. Poole chose a crap team, have made five changes, wheeling and dealing and dropping riders who have improved their averages, and now have one built to 46.5. Swindon and Wolves should now be allowed to build to 46.5. #Poole46.5
