What is there to stop someone going to the east of england showground bosses and arrange a deal to run speedway with a completely new team, most of the assets they have are not viable for the premier league, so apart from the name of the team and a bit of goodwill, what is there to sell.
Bjerre L, Vissing, North, Poole, Monberg, and Ostergaard are all viable Prem Lge assets..

Yes it is. Once the fixture lists are available we may need to run a couple of meetings on alternate days, but any such changes will be communicated clearly nearer the time.
This is great communications from Neil to the fans, and something to be applauded and encouraged imo...

Hope that's not too long
Good effort, but way too long for this century. I don't think he mentioned the last century..

No I'm saying it was the amazing improvement in cam that made the team as good as it was, if he hadn't of improved as much as he did, I think the team would have been mid table. We were pipped at the post having led that meeting by 6 twice but certain riders failed to perform like they did many times during the season. And I will say it again, I personally don't think the team was superb, it was made into a very good one by the great season Cameron had. I watched them often enough on enough different tracks to make my opinion. We may have actually finished top if the team riding order was left alone, once morten was moved to 5 we started to fade in meetings. Your opinion it was superb, my opinion it wasn't. That's why I love different opinions, although it does sometime seem we are not allowed to have different opinions.
Agree with everything you have said, especially the Morten bit...

Going to be only 3 lap races next year to save on fuel .
That's 2 more than really needed at some tracks I could mention..

Sad as it is but shouldn't this Topic now be in the PL section.
Boro are not in the Prem lge yet. Someone started a thread in the Prem lge section and it was deleted..

Absolutely thanks. For way beyond banter it seems you conveniently forgot to mention Crump99 and Bigcatdiary - funny that.
Hopefully you can also look in the mirror with something pleasant looking back.
Depends who is standing next to me..

Sounds like the Elite lge have just integrated a couple of NL heats into an EL match on the cheap. If this is an exercise to help young brits, why pay them peanuts, it should be Prem lge rates at the very least, if not more. These lads need investment, not shackles...

Is there anyone left at Birningham who is putting a team together.

Time for a stevebrum type post:
No he wasn't, it's all in the statement.
I agree as a short term experiment but now reality has struck then that's all I'd want it to be.
Bech thought he was...

Was going to say the same. Playgrounds and handbags!
Whats Rod Stewart got to do with anything..

So Bech was lined up for the Panthers. Love to know why Frost pulled out now, he was clearly building for 2014..

In one sense that is correct, but when you have a discussion forum and someone comes on and says "This is my opinion and I am not prepared to discuss my reasons for thinking this way " it kind of defeats the object of a forum for discussion.
Agree with that, but its not always easy to get a good explanation from a Doctor in writing...

Yes you do. You don't say you dislike somebody without good reason. As for Chris's injuries. We hope, they heal properly, there is always that slight nagging doubt that they may not..
As for your Avatar, you need to change that, unless you are a fan of Doctor Who..
No he doesn't. There is no law that states a man cant have opinions without explanation, that's the beauty of a free speech country. I don't like one of my customers, but I'm not obliged to say why. The real issue is Holder's injuries, and I doubt if anyone on here is qualified to comment on them, other than to say they were obviously horrendous. I'm sure everyone wishes him well in his rehabilitation...

.as you may remember, I sponsored the track record twice, c.louis and hampel both took £50 off me..thats great, fine, hampel was great, but as for chris, he refused to meet me, and I never even got a thank you....fact....keith rodwell took me into the pits to meet him, he said "no", £50, and not so much as a thank you!..yet suzi perry had no such response, of course not.....hope witches fans read these facts....2..after the 2nd track record was broken, magda rang me at home instructing me, the track record now costs £100!!......£50 was no longer good enough, even though no sponsor came in with a better offer....fact....
Not surprised if that is true. A good friend of mine sponsored Louis jnr one year for a considerable sum, and never got any thanks at all. A year later he got a call asking if he wanted to continue, and you can guess the answer. He and his family were lost to Ipswich speedway forever i'm afraid, and that's a shame. Fortunately, most speedway riders don't act like prima donnas though...

One of them rides for a Friday club and anothers average is too high.
Gustafsson 5.17 Allen 5.19 according to the final issue. Is this correct or am I mistaken...
-
Who could be in the running with 5.31 left ?
ALLEN, GUSTAFSSON and AUTY seem favourites..
-
Good signing, the Bees are looking like possible contenders imo...

Speaking of which - why is thread still in the EL section? They moved Leicester quick enough.
Cut us some slack Steve0, we aint got nowhere to go yet. We will behave until we are moved or deleted..

Nice avatar blu!
My hero English. Bump into him now and again at my bank, always say's hello with a smile. A genine nice guy is our Tiger..

Lawson or Bach, Bjerre L, North, and Vissing would be a good start, maybe Fish would fancy doubling up. Plenty of options as long as any deal can be completed sooner, rather than later...
-
Rick Frost objection is why they didn't get in last time. Maybe Leicester are the reason Peterborough aren't here any more. To be honest, if that was his attitude towards one track's ambitions, then we are better off with Leicester in.
http://Leicester’s application to join the Elite League has been put on hold for 12 months when they have been invited to re-apply. It was felt by all parties that in the current difficult economic circumstances, both the Elite and Premier League numbers should be protected. Since when is one man all parties...
