Pickering takes an ambulance ride off the track, and withdraws from the meeting tonight with a shoulder injury. Hope it's nothing serious...

Had Tomlin kept his mouth shut I'm pretty sure most Peterborough fans would have been ok with Pedersen & Iversen as top 2 + Basso & fillers in between.
The issue was, because of Tomlin's big mouth & the rumours of Holder, Tungate, Lindgren you'd all got your knickers in a twist about Chapman & since have became the blinkered ones.
Pedersen & Iversen were never the answer, and i said as much many weeks ago. Buster got lucky in 2021, largely due to Oystercards inflated average when he got injured, but apart from that it's been wooden spoons every year in the top league. People blaming MT for the current situation are just deflecting Chapmans historical inability to build a competitive team. Even worse, he's ruined the track with his cheap and nasty clay. He won't be getting another penny of my hard earned...

1 minute ago, Bagpuss said:99% of the problems are down to the number one berth, so far from twelve programmed rides only eight points have been scored when Pedersen would have been good for 30+. Other parts of the team are being exposed as a result and can't take the extra load. Get the number one sorted and it'll be a completely different side.
100% correct...

You could make an argument that Panthers would have won both home meetings this year with a solid number one...

2 minutes ago, Bald Bloke said:Or did everything change when MT could of did a deal behind Busters back with Holder, when every man and his dog knew that Holder can't ride at a Buster club. Undermining him as the owner? Did MT so silent because he couldn't back his mouth up on buying and saving the club. Surely he would still want to buy the club that he loves more so if he and Buster fell out?
Will we ever know the truth...probably not...

Everything changed when Chapman put a block on the Holder signing. MT went silent at that point, so it's quite possible an agreement that allowed MT & co to build the team was withdrawn by Chapman, or MT and Chapman never initially communicated on possible 'out of bounds signings. Either way, it's a monumental disaster for the supporters, unless they can pull a rabbit out of the hat, and sooner rather than later...

I would probably trust Holder more than KK...

Buster's ego has caused these problems. There comes a time when the past should be put to bed, and the best interest of the team takes precedence...
