  1. Belle Vue to stand any chance have to 5-1 in heat 12 and 5-1 Lindgren in heat 13, and then another 5-1 in heat 14. As they haven't looked like beating Lindgren it will need a super ride from Bjerre and Cook. Edit. Well Belle Vue got the 5-1 in heat 12. Now heat 13.........
  2. This is over already. Belle Vue have not done anywhere near enough. Tungate poor and pressure probably way too much on Bewley. Wolves should ease through relatively comfortably and meet Swindon. If Belle Vue come back from here it would be a spectacular effort.

    Bt Sport Coverage

So why are BT not covering the meeting tonight? There no champions league football blocking up the channels.
  4. The pendulum swings back in Wolves favour with Fricke missing. Ridiculous that we have to pander to BT who are not even paying for the privilege of broadcasting the final!

    Swedish Elitserien Championship Cup

Just caught up with the meeting and what a suprise! Thought it would be one way traffic and all over by heat 9 but Smederna had other ideas. Vetlanda clearly thought it was in the bag after last night and were complacent. Zmarzlik very naughty in one ride but his head went completely. Hampel just a gating tart nowdays. Well done Smederna.

    Swindon Vs Poole - Posf2 - 25 Sep

I should imagine 99.9% of Poole fans don't care that you are going. Why don't you post that on the Ipswich thread? It would have relevance.

And all Poole threads are wecked everytime by you. Gavan. The biggest anti Poole troll on the forum. You write post after post of anti Poole crap. A complete embarrassment to every Ipswich fan on the forum. Only thing is most Ipswich fans don't know you alledgedly support the Witches as you spend all your time slagging off Poole. What a terrible sad way to live your life.

I believe Kennetts issue is funds. He doesnt have a championship club, so has only ridden 20 odd meetings this season, which leads to a lack of money and therefore investment in his machinery. His engines are just not good enough and he doesn't earn enough to pay for a good tuner. Think the Championship in 2018 is where Eddie should be.

Not sure why you are such a bad loser. We got beat, and we got beat, fair and square. Accept it and congratulate the winners. We were never going to make the final.

Thanks for asking but not until Saturday. A super weeks flying coming up in the French alps. Bristol to Nice Sunday morning and then a brilliant 7 days soaring and thermalling up to cloudbase in the alpine terrain. Will still put my nose in if I have wifi to see what's happening in the final and if possible will try and get a stream to watch the first leg of the final.
  11. Kyle Howarth INJURED against Poole add that to the list.
  12. Just watched it a couple of times and agree Thorsell was the cause locking up and not giving Tungate any room whatsoever. Ref got that completely wrong.
  13. Have to agree Phil, can't see Wolves defending the title without without Thorsell. Belle Vue should pull this back fairly easily on the best racetrack in the country. Lindgren won't have enough backup. I have Belle Vue as clear favourites for the title right now. Watching Swindon last night they failed to impress and struggled to put away the weakest Poole team in years. Doyle said on TV he is taking no risks. He let down his Polish team when it mattered and isn't going to risk a world title For me, I believe Belle Vue will go all the way.

Nah we made plenty of noise. Poole fans travelled in very good numbers for last night. More than the 20 Swindon fans who made the effort to come down to Poole for the first leg. Perhaps Swindon fans get nose bleed if they get too far away from the Rodbourne Arms. And what about the 50 or so on the second bend by the catering wagon? What about the many Poole fans scattered all around the first and second bends? Granted we were not that noisy as there really wasn't too much to cheer but we were all there supporting our team. Where were the Swindon fans at Poole hiding?

50 or so? At least 2-300 Poole fans there last night. Scattered all around the stadium. Was impressed at so many travelling considering we were never likely to progress.
  16. Fair enough, though one would have thought a deal would have been struck to move the greyhounds for one week. Alternatively, move the second leg to the Tuesday or Thursday!
  17. Just don't understand where the logic lies in having the first leg of the final when you have the pick. Surely the reason to have first pick is so you can win the title in front of your home crowd instead of a couple of handfulls who will make the long trip to Manchester on a Monday?

Hopefully off to the French alps on Sunday followed by Italy later next month for two weeks of paragliding. Want to join us?
  19. But the facts speak for themselves. The track is seriously dangerous. Yes the Wimborne road track is safer so stop trying to deflect the subject. Last night clearly showed Monmore to be, as Flange puts it, a horror track. Carnage. Why so many fallers if it is safe?
  20. Watched this on the screen at blunsdon and by christ its a terribly dangerous track. Everyone can see this. How many crashes in this meeting? More than you would get in the best part of a season at any other track. And that's the truth. A trick track that only a few riders can really safely get around. The rest just hope for the best when they come here. Best wishes to Thorsell. A victim of the track. And a rider who has mastered it. But it still bit him as a rider that hadn't, clipped him and caused him to crash. Monmore claims another victim. Hope he is fit for the second leg. There were so many incidents during the meeting caused by this track. Wolves fans will go on defending it and saying it won track of the year etc etc but come on, we don't get riders wobbling around, over locking, losing control at any other track. End of the day only one rider injured. It could have been a lot worse. Wish Thorsell a speedy recovery.
