Sandhu certainly didn't have the good of the sport at the forefront of his mind and Trump, his right hand man, well I think Matt was spot on with what he thought of him. These two are buying into the sport and not to build houses. My guess is they will get on just fine.

I should imagine Matt Ford will welcome proper businessmen to the fold with open arms. He has had to deal with chancers and promoters with either no money to promote or ability. At least now he has new promoters who should have unlimited funds and business accumen.

Last time I went to Leicester I swore I would never set foot in the place again. 15 heats with not one single pass. That won't change unless the track does. Worth starting a Brandon Watch. Sandhu was very quick in getting his workers into the stadium to rip out "his" stuff. Will he be as quick to get his workers back in there to start putting it all back? Or will it be like Swindon with a couple of guys in a hut drinking tea and doing half a days work a month? The clock is ticking. Pressure needs to be asserted to get Brandon back to a usable condition.

It was neither. It had been hinted that someone had been missed out and I assumed, wrongly, that it was Darcy. If It had been, He perhaps could have sought compensation. You read my post completely wrong. Why on earth would anyone glory in speedways problems? Again trying to make something out of a genuine question. Why should I hunt out a press release? One person has said he now owns everything whilst someone else puts it differently. So what is it? So the promoter hasn't made his position clear either. My guess is he is renting, as I doubt Hemsley could have sold up that quickly, even if he had wanted to. Main point though is the club is safe for the time being. Now it needs the fans to come back in numbers decent enough for the place to survive. Hopefully this promoter will do more than just open the gates at 6 pm on a Saturday and actually do what is needed. To get out there and promote!

Kyle Newman signed for Pila last year but he didn't get a ride, the promotion sticking with local lads. But good luck to him if he actually gets a chance in a meeting.
