  1. Isn’t Middlo there?
  2. Realistically Pirates need to keep it to 10-12. Anything more and it could well be all over at 10pm tonight. Losing Anders is a big blow but the boys will dig deep like they did at Scunthorpe, though the opposition is much stronger tonight.
  3. Went two years ago. Glasgow is worth a look around but the museums were closed when we went up due to copp26. Go Pirates!
  4. Feel sorry for the Poole fans who have already left for the long travel up. Hope they find out quickly. With all the wet weather over the last few days I was surprised to read yesterday that the track was holding up well. At least the call off stops the riders from travelling too far. A dry day today and tomorrow should give riders the chance to race rather than ride.
  5. Anders ability and form has improved dramatically as the season has gone on. He probably didn’t want the season to end and the strives he has made is clear to see. Certainly one of the first names on 2024 team sheet. His loss will be noticeable and it’s likely he will miss the second leg as well.
  6. Thats not good news for us. However, if Anders isn’t 100% then it’s best he sits it out. Will put extra pressure on our reserves and Zack. Certainly reduces our scoring ability as Anders is very good around Ashfield.
  7. Nice to see the Glasgow fans getting right behind their riders and supporting them all the way.
  8. No rain forecast for Poole for the foreseeable future. Dry and with sunny periods all the way.
  9. That will upset the Glasgow fans who were trying to get him dropped.
  10. There’s no squad system. He is not injured so can’t be replaced. Vissing is also fit now so should ride. To stop them from riding it taking away their livelihood and basically cheating to get an advantage. Both riders have been in the team this whole season so should be included. If Pijper isn’t scoring he will only get 3 rides and Complin is in electric form to cover both if needed. With the track likely to be a quagmire again, Complin is set for another big score.
  11. Tomorrow forecast is rain all day. The track is going to be extremely flooded come Sunday morning with expected temperature of around 13 C during the day. Track is going to be very, very wet and hard work.
  12. Glasgow fans would surely hope so. They must want to win the title with their 1-7 rather than r/r and a guest.
  13. Don't want to be seeing him in a similar photo next Wednesday night!
  14. It was an entertaining meeting tonight. I was watching as a complete neutral and didn’t care who won it to be honest. I like Holder and King, on opposite sides, plus wanted young Thompson to come through unscathed for. More important couple of meetings next week for him. But I had no preference. That was until quite a few Ipswich fans got very bitter on here after the meeting. It’s always better to congratulate the victors and bow out gracefully, even if you feel injustice and disappointment. If you are raging, turn off the forum and go to bed.
  15. Make a point of ignoring that utter numpty Gavan on here and his bile. But tonight is just too funny for words, reading his posts and his utter meltdown as Ipswich choked. Commiserations to the decent Ipswich fans on here who have congratulated Sheffield and taken it in the chin. It’s painful but you get over it. As for Gavan, he is now spewing crap about grown Sheffield fans shouting abuse in little 9 year old girls faces. Let’s be honest. It didn’t happen. It’s a figment of Gavans imagination. Are you feeling disappointed Gavan? Does it hurt to witness your team croak like that? Oh dear. What a shame. Never mind.
  16. In truth Ipswich should never have lost that. It was a serious, major, unmitigated croak. A choker of epic proportions. Glad to see Chris Holder winning it for Sheffield. Made up for the poor effort on that awful Ipswich track in the first leg. Is loving it and rightly so.
  17. Ipswich went to Sheffield, expecting to nail the part, but all that they could manage, was a few damp squelchy farts.
  18. Chris Holder take a bow. Passing Doyle and holding on.
  19. Best race of the night in heat 14. All down to Doyle and Saifudinov. If they 5-1 in heat 15, the superheat is relatively easy.
  20. If Bomber had laid his bike down Doyle would have been out.
  21. Ipswich can still win this. Heat 15 they can 5-1. All down to heat 14. If Ipswich can get a result they can survive and win.
