This is easily bypassed if people want to stream with a new Twitter account which doesn't reveal their identity 👍

    Speedway On Tv 2016

If you type Polski into search in Navi X you get a full list including the regional TVP channels which as someone mentioned are all the same. I watched today's match on TVP Wroclaw I think but there were about 7 to choose from

How Do We Attract A New Young Audience?

As a 40 year fan of speedway I think unfortunately the end is nigh and it's too late for Speedway in the UK. After dabbling at a semi pro level I turned my hand to sponsorship manangement with various riders. Then into the music at various tracks and finally presenting. I was also involved in the hugely popular BIKERfm Speedway Show which whilst I was involved was getting a peak listenership of approx 20,000 listeners each week because it was edgy and dared to go where others wouldn't. But the show was seen as a threat by the powers that be and they did everything they could to mess it up. The only way to in my opinion to bring back the crowds in the UK would be a huge cash injection, sell it as a dangerous sport, stage manage it in respect to entertainment but not results a bit like wrestling, and a global brand sponsor. But I know unfortunately that none of this will ever happen. I attended one meeting in 2015 compared to a usual 100+ and in 2016 the only match I will go to is Coventry's last home meeting if it really is their final season. When die hards like myself give up who have it in their blood what hope is there of capturing new recruits. Enjoy it while you can and best wishes to everyone for 2016.

    Coventry 2016

Think people associate Smoli with Brum now, I was just thinking Coventry through and through folk for a final fun year. Jason Jorgensen with JJ on board looking after him would just be the cherry on top for the final season. No point aiming for the playoffs, Poole fiddle a win most years anyway 😉 That team wouldn't be any where near the play offs!

    Coventry 2016

For the final season lets just go for entertainment value and tryers and £1 a pint in the bar. We all know Poole will win the league again anyway so........ Kenni Larsen Chris Harris Ben Barker Jason Garrity James Sarjeant Jason Jorgensen Adam Roynon Let's have plenty or argy bargy, refuse to pay any fines and if we do fluke a final place hand the trophy over to Poole before the first leg and just ride for a laugh and go out smiling as the final curtain falls 👍

    Coventry V Poole 1/6/15

Despite our pre season fall out. Gotta take my hat off tonight to Mick Horton and Havvy for standing up and not just rolling over for Sky Sports and the powers that be. Proud of the Bees tonight. The cherry on top would have been the riders and fans jumping the fence and staging a sit in, on the track so Heat 10 couldn't be run. Speedway has to change and it's great to see people saying enough's enough

    Coventry V Poole 1/6/15

Unless things have changed or I completely dreamt it I think the home team gets £20k per meeting from Sky to make up for reduced crowd so at lesser supported clubs it's a better income than a normal match. Exceptions being perhaps Poole and maybe Cov. That might have change though since losing Sky as the league title sponsor.

    Coventry V Lakeside 4th May 2015

Thanks for the fans vote of confidence, we miss being part of the family at Coventry in 2015. I've not been to a single match this year, the whole episode's left a very sour taste and put speedway very much on the back burner for now.

The Mighty Bees Vs Belle Vue 24/04/15

I keep checking my phone for missed calls from Mick but I think he's lost my number 😉

    Coventry 2015

Midland Red - We'd been using a special mixed electric guitar version of Flight Of The Bumblebee since 2011. I'd post a link to it but I hear you have to be careful what you post or like on the web these days as it can lead to all sorts. On a serious note we put a huge amount of time and thought into mastering all the riders jingles and incidental music in attempt to make Coventry's Presentation Unique and hopefully one of the better nights out at a speedway track in the UK. Hope all Bees Fans have a cracking year with a brilliant looking team. Look after our old man he's still thinking of coming most weeks 👍😉🚲💨🐝🏁

    Coventry 2015

It's quite funny to think that I've been sacked for liking something that was factually correct. Even more funny when you think I was reprimanded and fined at the end of 2013 for posting on Facebook that there were some xxxxxxx knobs in British Speedway. Now it's been proven maybe I should receive a refund on my fine

    Coventry 2015

URGENT MESSAGE TO COVENTRY BEES STAFF - Do not like Kenneth Kruse Hansen's latest post re his race suit or you may be sacked by Mick Horton like Me !! Shame Mick wasn't so on the ball at the dinner dance when I made a 3 hour round trip with 2 recently bereaved children only to find out he's completely missed us off the table plan or book the room he's agreed for us. Instead we killed 2 hours in McDonalds then I DJ'd the night completely free of charge for him. Well toodle pip speedway

    Birmingham Brummies 2015

Birmingham Brummies owner Tony Mole says the traditional yellow with big red B race jacket will be in place for the relaunch of the club in March. Birmingham will revert to their traditional race jacket for the relaunch of the club in March . Club owner Tony Mole says the famous yellow with big red B will be in place again although the opportunity is still there for a sponsors logo to be included. He says the club have to go back to basics after confirmation he will be making an application for the Brummies to join the National League. During their time in the Elite League they have used the compulsory race suits but Mole remains a fan of traditional bibs. The traditional race jacket will be back, yellow with the red B, and I am sure that will go down well with many of our supporters, he said. But at the same time I am very well aware we have to move with the times and we are looking at different ideas for the new team. The response has been fantastic and we are all looking forward to seeing speedway return to Perry Barr next March. I believe the Birmingham race jacket is one of the most iconic in speedway and Im pleased to confirm the team will be wearing them. Its been a busy time since the announcement was made at the weekend about our return to the track and I want to thank everyone who has shown their support. But the real test will be when the fortnightly meetings start and we have to make it pay. This club needs to stand on its own two feet as a viable business if we are to climb the ladder again in the future. I believe we have a framework in place to make it happen and once the team manager has been confirmed we can crack on with building a team to challenge for the National League title. Season tickets are expected to be made available before Christmas and Mole has spent this week looking at potential new appointments for key roles at the club including announcer, stadium presenter and administration staff. It is believed Eurosport Swedish League commentator Dave Rowe is in line to return to Perry Barr as official announcer . http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/other-sport/relaunched-birmingham-brummies-plan-b-8139478
  14. From what I've heard tonight since posting on here and Facebook, Charles is the sole reason why Birmingham closed and I'm quite confident on that information.
  15. Christ knows what really happened, I know for sure I'd have preferred to not know the inner workings of speedway, a sport I've loved for 40 years but could quite happily now take or leave. I firmly planted my feet in the Phillips Camp and despite my loyalty finished significantly out of pocket. I'd also previously found Graham Drury and Denise sound as a pound but saw a totally different side to them in 2013 but then I'm a forgiving soul. Birmingham wise I unfortunately think its curtains unless Cradley take the plunge. I attended the last Brummies meeting at Belle Vue with a pitiful hardcore of maybe 20 fans max, that in itself speaks volumes. But I don't think it's just Birmingham, Peterborough, Eastbourne, Cradley etc who will close up, give it 5 years and I don't think speedway will exist in the UK apart from maybe the Cardiff GP, everything else will be amateur like grasstrack. The fault of all this lies in the failure to move with the times. The entertainment £ is spent better elsewhere in 2014. PS - Presentation wise I think the observations are spot on. I've tried hard with this at Cardiff, Coventry, Brum and Stoke with the assistance of my big brother and my son but our hands have been tied a lot. The big issue is you can be at a meeting for 3-4 hours and see 15 mins racing. That's a lot of time to fill and entertain people which currently at most tracks involves naff all

    Coventry 2015

A life time ambition of mine to present the Elite League at Coventry which I achieved in 2014, I was gutted to miss the finals but overall really chuffed to have had the opportunity although it wasn't quite how I would have imagined from my childhood days supporting the Bees. The Bees support is strong and with the heritage, these fans deserve a team to support and a track to attend all be it in a tragically dying sport. Lets hope something can revitalise our great sport once again but I'm not holding my breath.

  18. Awesome atmosphere on Monday at Cov, watched it back on TV tonight and the fans were loud n proud. When we make it to the Final it'll be just like the good old days
  19. Expecting a big Bees win tonight, at least 10 points and a noisy Bees crowd 👍
  20. Wonder if Aces are getting double the usual Sky fee? Hope so 👍

    Music With No Imagination

I think for PRS we're talking pre 50's as it came up at Stoke once.
  22. Perhaps if the weekly payers contacted Coventry they would send a complimentary taxi for them aswell lol. I think the offer to the season ticket holders is generous enough on Coventry's behalf and I don't see anyone else stepping up. Hats off to Mick and Neil 👍
  23. I've genuinely loved working at Birmingham in no small part due to the fantastic fans. We may be a few grand down but the fans may have lost speedway again for who knows how long. I hope something's sorted for 2015 and if so I'd be thrilled to be a part of it again 👍
  24. Imagining you had no hometown alliance and the sport was as thrilling as it was in the 80's..... of all the tracks/stadiums you've visited in the UK and if you lived close enough where would you choose to watch your hometown speedway irrespective of the league they currently race in?
