Priest on any form of a reduction will be good value, Pavitt certainly has great potential (thought he would be at Belle Vue tbh) verdict is very much still out of Extance though, the talent is there but not sure the injuries will allow him to excel.
-
Certainly ticking the right boxes. Perry is a smart rider around Loomer Road and i feel Coles will be one of the bargains of the season on his current average. Chessell with his average reduction is handy but with on 14.61 left for 4 riders much will depend how they are used? Im not sure there is the connections to the best of the new 2 point riders so could be another long tail to come?

Glasgow 2019 Onwards

Just goes to show how at odds some promotions are with the rules introduced. If they are not willing to go with the spirit of the intended changes there is limits to what can be done. Certainly allowing riders to keep champ averages is wrong, should be highest average applies so instead of 11.30 Craig slips in on 10.18? -
Funny in my copy of the star it says Waj is in Rosco's plans and they will talk when he gets back from Aus. Zach could now ask for silly figures or he could already be signed elsewhere
-
Looks a good prospect, not much behind the Thompsons when i have seen him so think he will fare well this year.
-
Seems hard to imagine but a rider who featured in the GP's last year could fail to land a team spot anywhere but its entirely feasible. Goes to show that everyone has a budget and its about time some riders realised this. I have neutral feelings towards Craig so its not personal but his failings to progress outside the UK are starting to bite him.

head out of the .....oh clouds Best give him a week then he will have plenty of time to talk from the dog house (or is that just me)
-
Kents switch of race day may really pay off for signing the youngsters.
-
Whilst i agree that it would benefit Georgie to ride Nl as well this season "i suspect" he won't. Largely because the cut in points limit means his average is very high for any team to accommodate plus i fear he would have trouble keeping his machinery up to scratch if he was competing in two leagues full time.
-
Possibly but with limited options now perhaps he will have to re-think how expensive he is? Realisation might be kicking in that he cannot name his price and expect to get signed up every year.
-
Id be pretty confident saying Kerr will be one of the fittest riders in the country come tapes up.
-
Suspect it will be whatever he can get but certainly not the demands he was making. Bit disappointing as BV had been loyal to Cook for 8 years and he parts company in a strop.
-
Doesn't sound happy (except happlily burning his BV bridges). Rumours were circulating that his demands were high and made the club have 2nd thoughts. Probably going to have to take whatever gets offered now (brace for moaning piece in the star around June).
-
Much appreciated i forgot about the pesky reduction. I think 9.34 is a bit high although i think he would dominate around Eastbourne im not sure there is much improvement left in that average?
-
Most likely. Widders is unlucky actually as old rules his average is quite handy but with the introduction on 2 pointers not so much.
-
Time will tell but suspect Wood will focus on Championship likewise Bowtell plus they are almost ruled out of NL due to high averages. Think Brennan will get extra laps in the lower tier though.

Very good question actually. I thought Kennett was a certainty but with the Rye House results expunged and no sight of him on any of the 2018 final averages does he revert to his 2017 finishing figure? Certainly no expert in these matters but with no 2018 Champ average its x1.5 for 2019 so Ted could either be available on 5.58x1.5 = 8.37 or 6.39x1.5 = 9.58 (or most likely neither of those) BUT one looks good value at Champ level and one looks expensive.
-
Certainly don't disagree with that an most riders averages are likely to increase this year purely due to the starting points limit rather than improvement. But how many promotions are going to use 3 points on a rider who may creep up to 4 when they can gamble on a 2 pointer and hope they hit 6 or 7.
-
Nice problem to have. Bowtell is the only question mark as at reserve looks a bargain, at 2 not so much? That said im sure he will get good help at Arlington. Feel a few trips down to the coast may be happening this season.

1 ULRICH OSTERGAARD 7.13 2 TOM BACON 4.55 3 KYLE NEWMAN 5.98 4 ASH MORRIS 5.44 5 BEN BARKER 6.87 6 DANYON HUME 3.69 7JAMES SARGENT 4.05 37.71 Bit light towards the end of the meeting but solid engine room and constant strong reserves. -
Very much depends on the individual riders. There are 2.00ers who are very much on the up and 4.00ers who have stagnated at that level for years.

Thought that was more due to recovery from injuries for Dan and expecting a child for Rene, think Worky would like them both Bach but not always an option. Mentioned elsewhere the THJ is still looking for a team spot in the UK....could be a bargain in the Champ? -

Bit like Bomber, seems to spend the early part of the season struggling with setups and engines, eventually will get going but always playing catch up for form. -
