That's true but Tarasenko would probably have equalled that score and left Rob Lyon more flexibility with his reserve replacements.

We will agree to disagree on what constitutes an overtake then.

Lambert certainly tried and got alongside but with Worrall on the inside he could never get by

But everyone loves gate and go crap because it’s exciting and the fans love it.
And the powers that be wonder why this sport is dying on its arse.
Absolutely!!
You can understand why spectator numbers are dropping, £25 to witness an evening of that !!

As happy as I was with a Panthers win that was the worst meeting race wise I have seen !!
In 50 years of watching speedway that was the first meeting without one single overtake.
Made the World Cup and GP meetings look brilliant !!

I would strongly recommend checking the respective websites before travelling for this match.

Thank you

Just a quick question.... We are attending tonight's meeting, are fold up chairs allowed?

I made a decision to buy a programme at the first meeting I attended in 1976, I have purchased a programme at every meeting since.
They are stored on boxes and every now and then get a viewing brining back memories that would otherwise disappear.
I am definitely in the yes to a programme camp !!

What a wasted opportunity here ... I would have thought that, if only for the comedy value, the old 'I was loading my van and a toolbox fell on my head' excuse would have been worth another airing!!!

Second bend .... Sweat box !!!
Definitely the most uncomfortable I have ever been in a sports stadium.
Also had the joy in paddling in spilt drinks !!

Can someone help:
I am planning to head to Birmingham in a couple of week's and was wondering where the best place to park is? Also has getting to the track been affected by the Commonwealth games preparations?

The weather forecast gives heavy rain this afternoon, is the meeting likely to go ahead, I will have to leave soon to get there.

Signed up for entertainment and sport just now but when I activated the sky app it is different to the discovery+ on my tablet....no sport! According to my account I have two devices , my Android tablet and Sky Q showing as paired...but both accounts look different
I had exactly the same problem, luckily my daughter is more switched on than I am and I have an Amazon firestick. She downloaded the Discovery Plus all on that and sports is on it.

Was that the one where the ladder up to the box was pulled down ??
In my mind that was Alan Wilkinson

The crowd was roughly the same for the last few meetings, all of which had delayed starts and for a change this year, for those meetings the whole grandstand was opened to enable people to get a seat.
