Shockster replied to racers and royals's topic in International World of Speedway
If I was Tarnow team manager i'd be tempted to put Pedersen and Bjerre in Heat 14 to try and settle it?? Depends on who ZG puts in I suppose. -

Dedication. Not going too well either. -
Ladbrokes have POOLE at 7/2 and BELLE VUE at 7/1 all other prices are shorter than 365. Those 2 are generous though, in my book.
-
I think Kings Lynn are rightfully favs now with Iversen especially and Lambert banging in big scores all over the place, but 5/1 is a tempting price for Belle Vue. I'm on Poole at 9/2 but may well have a saver on The Aces.

Couldn't see Belle Vue picking Kings Lynn having lost twice at home to them. However Lynn could well pick Belle Vue. Lynn are in the box seat to top the league IMO. -

TBF to Bomber he apologised on Twitter last night and it was obvious to see he had no speed. -

Last nights match was a poor spectacle for TV. Basically ride around the inside after the first bend if you have any sense. Think that sums it up. A pity as I've only ever seen good meetings at Somerset before. -
SEC Finals - 4th round Saturday September 15th Chorzow live on Eurosport
Shockster replied to Col's topic in International World of Speedway
It's probably a year too soon for Lambert but he's putting his case forward. Leon Madsen must have a great chance if it goes on track performances. Every chance of winning this title now and banging in big scores every week for Czestachowa. However, NKI is already in the GP next season and should Pedersen get in the top 8 then unlikely they'll put another Dane in. -

Lindgren looks a bit tender -
I thought that, but then when I checked their team I couldn't see 30 points
-
Prices are back up for SGB Premiership. 9/4 Poole 5/2 Kings Lynn 100/30 Somerset 5/1 Belle Vue 16/1 Wolves & Swindon 400/1 Leicester Looks about right to me after Belle Vues 2 away wins this week.

Just seen this on Sportowefakty. Very sad indeed. You never know what's round the corner. -
Wroclaw v Torun, Sunday August 19th.

I was there for the last match v Czestachowa and I caught the tram from exactly this spot. It is in front of a large shopping mall and the Mercure Centrum Hotel. Just to let you know these trams get very very busy and people really cram onto them. To be honest it's murder after 6.15 and just as bad on the way back. Tickets are very cheap and can be bought in the subway next to the tram stop. I doubt anyone will check them though as the trams are so crowded. I had no issue booking through the website though, but you have to create a free account. If you want a programme for the match you MUST buy it outside the stadium. They do not sell them inside as I found out to my cost. Food and drink inside the ground is very cheap. A pint of lager was 7 Zloty about £1.40. The atmosphere was brilliant. Enjoy. -

No race off for it? -
I've Done Emil tonight 14/1 & Greg 17/2. If anybody is backing individual heats tonight, last year 18 of the 23 heats were won from Red or Yellow with Red taking 11 wins. Cook could be worth a go in Heat 1 and will be a price when they put them up.
