This is from Dave Goddards Twitter feed last Thursday. Right, as I've had people asking for months about the live Speedway coverage on Premier Sports/Freesports, I think it's finally time to respond. The reason I have not been commentating on the live Polish League meetings so far this year is because, due to them now being covered live, I am unable to travel to the studio and commentate due to my various car racing commitments. Therefore a new commentator has had to be brought in to cover them, and he is learning the job as he goes as he is new to speedway. I will however be covering the Swedish Elitserien live on Tuesday evenings this summer, beginning on May 8th (my birthday) and when the new commentator is not available will cover some of the Polish matches delayed. So international speedway has not lost my services!

Regarding Freddie Lindgren betting for the World Championship. Let's be realistic about it. He is NOT a 2/1 chance to win the title. He is a 7/1 chance as we speak as that's the best price that can be had at Betfred. He is also 13/2 with Coral and Ladbrokes. If anybody backs him right now at odds around 2 or 3/1 they are not going to win at this game in the long run. He might win it or he might not but around 3/1 is a bad bet IMO. Following the win in Poland on Sunday, you could have still backed him as I did at 20/1 after his 15 point Maximum. Again, whether or not he wins, I believe that is a good bet based on his outstanding form for Czestachowa which to me looks like he's in the form of his life. I also think 7/1 is about the right price just now.

Gorzow +12.5 seems a big start against Wroclaw tonight when Kasprzak and Zmarzlik can both have tactical rides. 3/4 seems a reasonable price. Will make for interesting viewing on Freesports.

Done a little double. Somerset & Rye both with 4.5 start at Betsafe. Pays over 5/2.
