Somerset v Poole Prem A. 20/6/18
Countershaftcounter replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Good old Kacper, taking lots of money from Matt. Seriously. Are you telling me that there’s NO English guys out there who could do with the track time ( and no doubt a bit of money) and score better than the embarrassment that has been the 2018 pirates. Matts win at all costs has certainly come an bitten him on the ãrse this season. -
The best British reserve Ford has had in the last few years was Ellis. Came in, did the job, outshone some of the main team in the play offs. Got dropped the following season. Shanes is is an excellent long track rider but hasn’t pulled up many trees on the shale. I was surprised he was included this year. If if you have a British passport I’d be wary of accepting an offer from Poole, ride well.... get dropped. Ride not so well, get dropped. Get injured and come back to help the team, get dropped. Underperform with a Polish licence...... reassure fans that “he’ll come good given time”

There's so many people who are supposedly in the know. IF Adams dad did Pm you I'm sure he'll not be impressed with you quoting private messages on here !

Shoveler doesn't need anyone to help him look an ass, he's doing very well all on his own. -
Just seen a thing on twitter that Scott Nicholls and Adam Ellis were testing a couple of bikes with Godden engines at Rye House today. Apparently Martin Hagon was there too, anyone got any inside knowledge ??

Is there a link for the unofficial Poole fans forum ? Google doesn't seem to know it .

Poole V Swindon Semi Final 1st Leg 11/9/17
Countershaftcounter replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I don't recall Adam saying anything negative against Poole? -
Doubling up in two leagues and only one bike ? Most clubs, (Ipswich included,) insist that you have two ready to go to stop this kind of thing happening Is this for real? I'm all for helping out riders whenever possible but this constant rush to set up gofundme pages gets a bit tedious.

Swindon Vs Kings Lynn 21 August 2017
Countershaftcounter replied to Steve0's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Hadn't had a chance to watch the match on tv till tonight. Here's hoping that JD recovers quickly from his season long neck injury.... you know, the one that prevents him from turning his head to look for his team mate. -
After last years stirling effort and the pirates falling short just at the end of the season, I remember the general consensus amongst fans being that Matt should build the team around Chris, Kyle and Adam. That went well didn't it ..........

Speedway World Cup 2017
Countershaftcounter replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
And looking on the swindon supporters FB page, the reserve we didn't use got 10 points in Poland yesterday. Surely after Lambert's 0,0,0, Ellis should have been given a ride ? -

watched last night and kept thinking .... he'll give Ellis a skid soon. There's no point in taking the lad there "to give him experience" if you're not even going to try him when the others are failing so bad ? The poor lads confidence must be shot to pieces -
