He was me. All the accounts that disagree with Coventry are owned by Tommy Turner. I thought you had worked that out already. The paranoia in this place is ridiculous

You all realise Dak is not Chris Holder right? Nor is he Emil or Tai. Everyone handles things differently. The reason Holder was held in such high regard for racing was in no small part because most of us were admitting we wouldn't have been able to summon up the courage and focus to compartmentalise in the same way Chris could. Not one of us (except the most determined idiot) would've had a bad word to say about Chris if he had decided not to ride, bit hypocritical if we don't apply the same consideration to Dak. Looking increasingly like the weather is going to make all this bickering academic anyway.

Second Choice Elite League Club?
GoFastTurnLeft replied to John Leslie's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
My loyalty is to Poole only, but I enjoy watching racing a lot more when I'm rooting for someone so I'll usually pick someone, but I certainly wouldn't be able to pick for next season, as my choices will be largely based on the club's journey to the playoffs. For this year, if we don't make it, I'd like the winner to be Swindon. I know Darcy is a rider who's divided opinion. One person's lovable rogue is another person's selfish brat, but Swindon's fans put aside judgement and welcomed Darcy in and I know he enjoyed riding for them. I also think a big part of them getting to where they are is due to Darcy and his motivation, I'd like to see that carried all the way. If not Swindon, I'd go for Belle Vue over Coventry, but that's because as a Poole fan, I'd go for anyone over Coventry -
Coventry V Poole Elsf 1

In the GP he started strong, but petered out at the end. He's inconsistent. Which I'm not going to bash him for (as I said before, he gets a free pass from me this season no matter what) I expect he'll do the business at Wimborne Rd, but he doesn't exactly have fond memories of Brandon at the best of times. Magic didn't exactly light up the scoreboards for WTS Sparta so his injury was definitely having some kind of effect. I fully expect he'll ride, but I have to admit I'm a little worried he won't be firing on all cylinders. -
Swedish Play-offs 2015

Whatever the reason, it's a real shame. World speedway needs riders like him. -
What Does The Swedish League Have That The Uk Elite Does Not ?

Then we should be asking ourselves, where did it go wrong, and how do we bring the good times back? because we used to have all the top riders racing over here. -

I watched this with my old man who doesn't care at all about Speedway. Heat 14 even woke him up. Riders like Emil make speedway more exciting. I'm not sure if his health is still the reason he doesn't do GPs, but if tonight was him not at full fitness then... If it's a money issue, sponsors should be beating his door down. He could easily get more people watching speedway. -

Top riders don't want to come here because they're not paid enough. They're not paid enough because speedway is not popular enough in the UK. Speedway is not popular enough because big crowds don't go to meetings. Big crowds don't go to meetings because top riders don't come here. -

Really hope both Magic and Bomber are feeling a lot better on Friday. Both will likely ride regardless but both teams really need them at full strength. Don't know what the weather is doing in Coventry, but looking out my window in Bournemouth definitely seems the right call to postpone. Hope BV Swindon is still on so I have something to watch tonight though. -

Genuinely wouldn't be surprised to see Kacper beat Andersen at Wimborne Rd, probably not at Brandon though. Dak really needs to have resolved his issues by Monday or he could literally cost us the playoffs. We need the Brandon leg to be close, the Bees are too good at our track to be able to to make up a large deficit. -

Personally I think Lindgren for Kylmakorpi is trading up. -
Which Fast Track Riders Will Be Promoted Into Any Teams 1-5 For 2016?
GoFastTurnLeft replied to Shale Searcher's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I would be disappointed if Newman didn't get a promotion into the 1-5 he's definitely earned it. The Bees would be crazy not to promote Garrity. Charles Wright should also get one IMO -

I ordered a T shirt 2 weeks ago. Money taken, no update on shipping, no shirt. Email ignored. Make of that what you will. -
Polish Promotion/relegation Sunday 4th October
GoFastTurnLeft replied to racers and royals's topic in International World of Speedway
He does it a lot for North at Poole too. One of the few riders to make a proper effort. Was really surprised by Bjerre until the middle of the meeting when I saw him back in his usual 'form' Was more impressed by Woffy finding racing lines on a track that initially only seemed to have one. -

Really can't decide on that one even putting aside club loyalty. I think he is a huge talent, I just wish he was a little more Greg Hancock and a little less Nicki Pedersen.
