Are the 90's ok on the feet for few hours while at the speedway Baldy Oh yeah, i'm a hoody type of bloke as well. I where F&F. Wash well if the meetings messy. Mind you there not in the Hollister class. Black is best imho.

I only thought they made canvas. I'll look into it Baldy

I can't do them trainer socks. They always feel like they are falling off my feet .Bloody nightmare. Its Primark regular socks for me, but only in black.

I wear the Old Reebok classics. Although they are a bit hot in the summer, I sometimes chuck them on if popping out on my motorbike. The trouble with canvas ones is that changing gear ruins them. I was looking at a pair of Munt Jacks for days out with the family though. They look nice, but are dear.

Agree. You get 3 or4 good races in most meetings. Sadly you could have your next meeting at £10 and get a few in, next week a bit less and the 3rd week the same. There's much more that the younger generation would rather be doing. It's the sign of the times. I don't think it can be fixed as a pro sport in the UK

It was a GP, and you expect tough racing. Leaving very little room, but not barging a rider into the fence. -

With the amount of meetings we have over here, I would say that's a bare minimum. -

I know. The GP boys probably pay a lot more on all engine related things, but they earn enough to do that. Like you say, its the lower end of rider that the prices make it very hard for them. -

Just very roughly working it out, if you say for 4-5 rides Dope £8 Oil £15 Rear Tyre a guess @ £40-45 ? £15 -£20 per race for engine service ( so £440-£660) if a rider has the motor serviced every 30 rides. That's probably not a top end UK rider either. Add to that clutch plates ,baskets, chains, lubes, sprockets, ignition systems, bent bits and engine blow ups. It's not cheap for the average UK rider Would be great for a rider to give us a more accurate figure -

Big City, best stadium, one of the best tracks in the world. I'm guessing here, but a tiny town like Lynn probably get almost as many fans. Surely the NSS can attract a lot more fans if advertised right. It's not even footy season. If BV can't Buster is trying, but flogging a dead horse. -
