I tbink when a sports person or team does something that incurs the wrath of his sponsor then the sponsor has every right to withdrawn the sponsorship but not sure it works the other way round. I doubt any sports person or team would refuse sponsorship even if the sponsor or one of their staff had done something untoward.

Money talks. It works which ever way around you want it to. Don't make me laugh ;)

Maybe he’s the best rider at the right wage on an average achieved in the 3:00 + bracket. Maybe, although not exciting enough. This could be a move to make room for another rider who does matter more. He could be the sacrificial lamb to allow a potent top 6.

Team building could come down to .01 of a point. He could be the guy there to make the rest of the numbers fit until DRew Kemp is ready or another face fits?

Same here Danny :t: If Simon has signed I would of thought he would of been the last one fitted in, and the team is done..

No it's not. Just because one person has an opinion doesn't mean to say the whole company have the same opinion.

Nothing to do with moral. Everyone is entitled to have an opinion.

People on here are mostly miserable OAP's who haven't moved with the times. They are trapped in a world that existed 25 years ago. The world has changed as I said above. Vegan's, feminists, religions, politics it doesn't matter everyone will do something that will upset people. It's the world we live in.

No, but if he is the head of said company.

What are your views on all the listed in the 2nd bold quote??

    It's not the 1960's anymore.

Nobody can say or do anything without somebody crying.

People who eat meat are in the wrong according to vegan's.

Female models who promote sporting events such as the Darts and Formula 1 are in the wrong according to feminist's.

Some people agree with gay marriage and some people don't.

Donald Trump is a racist according to a group of people yet the other group of people voted for him to become President say he's not racist.

People who voted for Brexit because they want the borders to be shut are racists.

I can go on and on about various subjects in the current times.

Do I agree with Andrew's comments. No I don't but I'm not calling for Matt Ford to cut all ties with Meridian Lifts just because someone has an opinion on a certain subject. It's the world we live in where everybody has an opinion on a subject that will leave a sour taste in people's mouths.

Get with the times. Learn to deal with it. If you cant accept people having an opinion you don't like then quit all forms of social media.

It's if Ford agrees or not. And if he don't, being moral vs money, is what he must decide if a deal is offered..

Wonder what the Poole ownership stance will be regarding Andrew Tomlins (Meridian Lifts)  comments on twitter.....Do they want to be associated with someone who is quite happy to openly state he would like to see Migrants drowned ?

Just sink them,, once a few drowned they stop coming !!

Depends on the doller I guess.

If Lambert (the leagues best rider bar an ex world champ and British No1) isnt an inspirational signing them Im not sure what is.....

As I said if what Lynn did in 2018 wasn't enough for him to attend, he might as well give up ;)

Sadly as things stand I like many more choice is not to attend - and I can’t see that changing unless there is a inspirational signing over the winter .

Your team topped the table for the first time ever?? Was unlucky in the play offs due to late injuries. Lynn's best season in the top flight for 50 years.. How many meetings did yo attend at the AFA in 2018?

How much better than 2018 do they have to be in 2019 for you to pay to watch them :P.. Your choice how you spend your money and we are all have an opinion.

Always comes back to the negative few with nothing better to do! The signing of rob is great news. It’s a good start. A few of the negative guys last year at this time were suggesting he would have to move on to improve . . .

Niels is the most important link to this team now. A team with them as our spearhead gives me confidence in the big heats.

Agree, if not Niels we need back up :t:

Well  you lot are so negative with your glass half full no wonder speedway in in such a mess - the sport can definitely do without this kind of support though wait there is no fans left .And oh yes we only want the ones that can spell proper like lol lol lol

Don't worry about spelling. Go pay and support your team.

There is an old saying 'You reap what you sow'   and because of that, as you say,  there is so much negatively.

Last year wasn't that good, it could have been much better but we messed up when it mattered .    To me coming second  isn't something to be over joyed about.   Since then we have had little to be excited about, all the other teams  have been proactive in assembling decent teams, all we have to be positive about is the acquisition of Top Man,   Robert Lambert.

Making an announcement in the  S/S and the EDP  before enlightening their own fans, to me speaks volumes,   It sure illustrated how little importance the Stars management  regard  their own supporters.     Name another club that has done that...…..

As of yet,   I have seen very little, for me to be positive  ...…

    Remember the saying.....

So from starting the season as a lot of people thought we would struggle, we came from bottom of the league, only to finish top by 6 points I think?

How could of it "been so much better"? and "we messed up when it mattered" We exceeded all expectations and was hit with injuries to a reserve in form and NKI at the last minute.

Someone's glass isn't even half empty, it's got a hole in the bottom... Happy New year

A happy rider is a fast one, I would have him in my team with an average that low,has filled in most of the so called number 1s on many occasions just lacking consistancy which in my opinion is experience, smart ,quick and entertaining rider that is ipswich’s gain poole’s loss

Are you saying he wasn't a happy bunny? I would of welcomed him at Lynn on that average.

oh Dear - tough I ain’t going away Iol  - and there was I thinking it a free county and we was all entitled to our opinions and views. And don’t like to burst your bubble but if you hadn’t noticed speedway needs all the fans it can get even as you call me people like me .

Speedway needs all the fans they can get.... That go ;)

Everyone's biggest fear at the moment is Ipswich already are predicted by some to not see out the Premiership season with their predicted team.

As with every club, when things don't go well fans do not turn up.

Lynn did very well in 2018. But you still get some that don't turn up :)

Yes other clubs offered Rickardsson ,Holder , Ward, Hancock and Janowski more money I’m assuming by Lisa’s comments.

Poole are a very well run club for sure but there is no way other clubs offered these riders more then Poole to ride for them

If Poole pay less then, what attracts riders to Poole. It's not their loyalty to riders
