The announcer at Kings Lynn said that Morris was able to ride as the 5% extra for home meetings had been extended to away fixtures as well.

So Lynn can use R. Worrall at Somerset.. ??? Toft 5.65..... Worrall 5.81 .. fits with the 5%.. Or was the 5% away rule for 1 meeting only?

That would make a great team of racers, though not to totally discount a Holder / Bomber switch?

Interesting to read in the club's Facebook post today the quote from Garry May ... "and Bomber too, who I came very close to signing this season..."

Not for me, at this stage. Holder all the way.

The luck was deffo in Poole's favour. Lynn had NKI injured Sunday and MPT on the Monday.  That's speedway I guess. Toffy gets brought down and he gets excluded, that's speedway as well I guess.

The bit that I don't like is Poole's use of Morris at Lynn. I Don't blame Poole. We all know they will try and get advantage where they can.

Lynn was going to use Ellis and Morris when they was free. Not ideal, but legal. So the rule was changed for the final..I suppose that's fair enough.

The bit that boils my piddle is the bit where they wavered the  average rule for Poole...….Not changed it for everyone !! Just a 1 time special.:nono:

Don't matter who agreed to what rider rides where, it should not of been allowed.. Ellis for Poole x 2, and Morris for Lynn x 2...….. Fits without changing the average rule for 1 team and changing it back after the final  I can't remember it ever happening, and I doubt it will again !!

Before the Poole tints start, I said this before the final..:t:Thinking about it, didn't Morris outscore Eliis by 4 at Lynn?

I wonder if the rule will be wavered for the cup final.... and re instated after it.... I doubt it .. Makes the sport look silly...again.

Yes Poole won the league.. Lynn was the best team over the season, who also was bottom, had the best away record to boot, just unlucky and wronged in the final.

SS. You have made no comment.. Thought this was just up your street. Your thoughts on  underlined would be great.

Absolutely wrong there SS, King's Lynn finished top of the league so they were the best team over the season 100%. Poole just got lucky in the play offs.

Holder's house being up for sale could well be to do with a legal settlement with his former partner, now that he has gained access to his son again.  On the other hand he could be moving to his base in Poland?!;):P

Yeah, the settlement thing did come to mind Skidder. I just thought i'd put it out there ;). On the other hand, Ford could have over priced the club expecting it not to sell and later on use the quitting thing to try in a bid to try and keep the Prem for 2019 …  Ford has done a top job for himself and Poole over the years, probably in that order. Maybe this season he saw what happens to the crowd, and speedway in general when your not winning, who knows... The mind boggles :D

More like it’s a shame there aren’t more options to use from for guesting, On paper Howarth for MPT was at least a like for like but Iversen on that average was irreplaceable. No disrespect intended on Ellis but he could never have been expected to remotely equal what Iversen would have likely scored.

On paper, yes... MPT would of scored 6 -7 from 4 and NKI would of scored a lot more than 3. Morris scored 7. Like for like.

What are you buying exactly ???

A tractor with a grader,  a set of starting tapes, coloured lights,  flags, an air fence and safety fence  anda little  "track material"  and some pot holes ? The rider "assets"  have little value as they are all guns for hire and ride where they please. I suppose Mr Ford will take the trophy cabinet with all his pots !

You wouldn't even be guaranteed which division of racing you might be taking part in , or more importantly which race night you might have to race your home meetings.

Hardly a growth business ... I doubt Dragons Den woudl take it on.

I don't see how you could expect Iversen to score anywhere close to 13!! And I'm not so sure Palm Toft was going to have 7 rides tonight!!  If Ellis gets 7/8 from his programmed rides and Howarth 8/9 from 5 I don't think it would be too far off what the 2 Danes would have scored!!

NKI don't like super grippy, might be his shoulder, I dunno. I'd of expected to chip in with 9 from 5 rides, coming good when the track slickens off, in time for heats 13 and 15

I'm hoping Adam can bag 7-8.

Although people, (mostly Poole) fans were getting exited about MPT's BV score, I would expected him to have 1 of Simons rides and maybe 1 more along the way, scoring around 9-10 from 6 rides.

I see Howarth struggling, around 4 points tonight (and his best mate is a Poole rider so I've read ) I'm sure he will try his best.

Lynn's engine room should score heavier tonight, and they need a big one.

Anything can happen.. I'll go 50-40.
