  1. I'm pretty sure it would have been had the monarchs top two been missing

worky never have an issue with anything,we're the go with the flow club,if you'd booked wofinden as cover for Harris they wouldn't have objected

Bit rich that, with the team panthers sent to worky, firstly it was Scott nicholls guesting then it was palm toft, then it wasn't,then Boxall, then it wasn't and ended up with roynon, lawler and rr,that takes some beating

Valiant effort by worky, with effectively a 3 man team and with campton and a half decent reserve available who knows

I'm sure a few wins and a top scoring performance which is more than likely v worky and he'll soon be forgiven
  6. Never any hope of worky getting anything here, after the euphoria of beating panthers nl select last week it was back to normal service,no doubt our team manager will be trotting out the well worn clichés in the local rag, well move on and repeat as nessacery as we have the last 3 or 4 years
  7. But the main thing is we won and everything's wonderful again,or at least until next Friday at Edinburgh
  8. It pretty much went wrong with 2 nl guests, and no heat leaders

    Workington V Ipswich 19/8/17

Perhaps it's time for the promotion to sell up,can't say they haven't tried but it just hasn't worked out,the enthusiasm and excitement has vanished, they're must be some company out there who'd be interested with fresh ideas and a new direction, just to give a lift and spark the place to life,

Comets in freefall now,and can't do nothing to halt the slide, got away with it last week, was never gonna happen against the witches with four riders and a misfiring heatleader, don't know where we go from here
  11. Probably Play Offs My Arse
  12. He was also team manager under the Denham reign,we've been down the same tried, tested and failed route so long we've become stale, and predictable,we need fresh impetus
  13. Seems jacko has had his feet under the table too long now,we've never looked like winning anything major while in charge, doesn't appear to have any motivational skills, just appears happy to trundle on and go with the flow, apparently he's a specialist in rules and regulations, when in fact all he seems to specialise in is failure, nice guy granted but maybe that's the problem
  14. Been a couple of heavy showers, but expected to stay dry and bright for the rest of the day
  15. maybe yes,but summers gave him a night off this evening
  16. Mason Campton best ten grand we ever spent

    Redcar V Workington

Really need a adequate replacement for serjeant,it just hasn't worked, when roynon was bombed out we had over an extra 2 points to play with at the time,so in respect the team manager has made a complete pigs arse of it
  18. Keep meetings moving like the first 14 heats you mean? I find your ramblings about cook bizarre, the guys a pleasure to watch, worked his arse off to get to this point in his career,a credit to speedway and our league in general okay so he loses his rag now and then,so what we could do with a few more Craig cooks in a sport where characters are long gone
  19. So you consider this,if Newcastle had been in the same position a would the 2 minutes have gone on?and b would George English have accepted it how it was,if you answer yes to both I'm staggered
  20. That simple was it?so we had a meeting that took the duration of a lord of the rings movie, and an extra few minutes more would have seen the meeting to a satisfactory conclusion
  21. yes, when your struggling worky are the team to accomodate
  22. Texted said comets fans too quiet halfway through, and too over enthusiastic at the end,not quite sure what they were supposed to do,at the end of the day it's all about picking points up on the road, and given our away record the last couple of years surely they can't be begrudge a little bit of joy
