Peterborough Panthers 2017
gregory peck replied to Flappy's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Worky were told last weekend it was to give extra time to sort the track out after the hot rod racing which I believe finishes on Sunday,so it appears it's worked out nicely, wink wink -

bit disrespectful to worky and speedway in general, what is your definition of an average rider?I've seen some good tigers sides over the years at worky, and some not so good, but no-one has the divine right to beat anyone, let alone question a riderr ability -

precisely, perhaps if worky had rolled over and been thumped by thirty points everyone would be happy, there again they'd get slated for not being proper opposition, seems you can't win either way -
an absolute joy to watch, never forget his two years as a comet, some wonderful memories, thanks for those and good luck steady

Also why wasn't bjerre given a tac ride in heat ten when 10 behind,a race he won,and they'd have got a 7-2,most bizarre -

when I looked in the pits prior to heat 15,only bjerre was getting ready to race, jorgensen was packing his gear away and the only other rider there was etherige the rest had gone,no manager or anything, shambolic really -

Although this meeting has the appeal of a double glazing convention, it's important we see a decent turnout, and it will go a long way to whether the supporters still want speedway in Workington -

Seems a strange one this, how much rain has fallen there today?you'd think they'd have given it every chance mid morning at least, given the position they're in regarding fixtures,I know they've been doing extensive track work, wouldn't like to think they've made a pigs arse of it -

gregory peck replied to SharpenRake's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
If worky do make the play offs they'd have to win their home legs by 30 pts,and hope it's enough,so frustrating how a team can be nigh unbeatable at home and ride like a nl select away -

you do your team a disservice,Kennett,Robson and kasperlykke go well round Dp,and the fact that comets have had one match in 5 weeks(a mullering at Berwick)makes me believe this could be a bit squeaky bum
