Sidney the robin replied to lucifer sam's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Totally agree in time Bailey will come good, other teams are the same have young talented English lads at reserve patience is needed.Newcastle what a great example have supported Phillips to the hilt and good on em for that.If the likes of Smith,Bailey,Hume,Mountain,Bacon are given time they will be good PL riders in time this league now is very tough. -

Tom Perry longterm is not one of the better reserves alot of teams are looking to the future. -
A great read as usual and to be honest even if it was at 3.50/ 4.00 pound it would still be great value.

You are so right and Richie Worrall is the same been skanked twice now by the rules and this has hindered him too. -

Going by the updates last night the meeting was a borefest i have heard great things about Glasgow and i will try to visit later in the season. But riders like Auty who can't gate need a track to be able to race and pass on last night it seemed every race was follow the leader.Today at Scunny it won't be like that Douglas,Auty,Fritz,Wilko (ect) Hansen,Holder,Ulrich all racers have a track to race on ENTERTAINMENT is as important as the result in my book. -
Bandits Vs Witches Ckoc 2nd Leg Sat 1st April

46-44 King-14 Sarjeant-4 Covatti-9 Heeps-4 Schlein-8 Hume-4 Mountain-1. I think it will be close and Vissing and King will take some beating Carr/Hall/Blackburn for Berwick and Heeps/Hume/Mountain there clashes will decide the match. -
For me if Ipswich can hang in there until Newman returns i recon they have every chance in this league. If Newman can get back for the home Glasgow fixture ( a big match) he would of missed 9 meeting's hopefully Sarjeant can chip in until Newman returns.

Sidney the robin replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Bewley is an exceptional prospect, but i would not expect to much to soon.He has to gain alot of experience first, and also with him riding three league's is a big ask phsically and Financially. -

For me at Scunthorpe racing later on at night helps that track more favourable than mid afternoon starts.Belle Vue, Scunthorpe,Somerset, and when prepared right Sheffield are in the top six tracks in the country. -

Really like the look of this Belle Vue team, young exciting and also they have an eye on the future with the two young reserves.I think Belle Vue need to keep it tight in the first leg then can win over the two at home. -
Witches Vs Bandits Thurs 30th March Ckoc 1st Leg
Sidney the robin replied to dontforgetthefueltapsbruv's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Newman really is a loss, also i believe he is a very good team rider which is a very good asset to have.Realistically if the reserves can score 8/10 between them each week at home the Witches will be fine away will be harder though Sarjeant and Heeps are the key. -
Wolves V Poole 27/3/17 + Poole V Wolves 29/3/17 Es.
Sidney the robin replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Still not convinced with this Poole team to be honest something missing. The number 1 is vulnerable and i can see a few away defeats on the horizon.Wolves will be fine top four easily, they also have scope for changes in three positions if need be. -

I went to the newer Scunthorpe for the first time last year v Somerset and that was the best racing i saw all year. And by all accounts other forum members have said meetings v Ipswich as an example have been even better a great racetrack. -

That is one thing Jacob needs to do improve his away scores. But Doyle/Thorssell are two great examples to anyone keep working hard keep believing and with a bit of luck you can improve. -

Witches Vs Bandits Thurs 30th March Ckoc 1st Leg
Sidney the robin replied to dontforgetthefueltapsbruv's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Berwick if they are more than 16 behind have a tough job on in the second leg Ipswich to win over two legs.If Newman was riding for me it would of been easier for Ipswich it will be close i think. -
Witches Vs Bandits Thurs 30th March Ckoc 1st Leg
Sidney the robin replied to dontforgetthefueltapsbruv's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Carr is not good anough in my view for the top five, Berge if on it will score well but the others are vulnerable.I predict Carr ,Blacklock,Ayres will not score more than 12 between them at Foxhall.? -
Witches Vs Bandits Thurs 30th March Ckoc 1st Leg
Sidney the robin replied to dontforgetthefueltapsbruv's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I know Blacklock has started very promising but i expect the Ippo reserves to pick up points in both meetings. Also Ayres rides tonight for Cradley and comes back from injury so i do expect a few points from Sarjeant,Heeps,Hume,Mountain. -
I don't deny the Swindon track has been poor at times but some of your Poole friends are in denial about there own track.??Also these people last year were critical of Belle Vue and there racetrack.

I heard from someone who went to Berwick on Saturday saying that it was superb. The promotion had done a great job great racing the Vissing/Lambert clashes and the meeting finished in a hour and a half it can be done.
