Danny are you sure? a poor product no way in a month of Sundays should we pay 17 pound a meeting for a real bang average product..I will pay it i still love going a great night out for me but in reality no way is this product worth 17 pound a head.

No chance of Zagar coming back he is one of the reasons why Belle Vue are in trouble.
-
Thanks Gustix" at work rather dark guessed a bit.😅😅
-
DC was thinking that myself in those U21s meetings last season i recon there were at least 10 riders better than Andersen in it Hansen (dane certainly).Andersen is promising has good credentials but i feel now maybe it was not a good time to introduce him.
-
Wolves/Eastbourne,Lakeside,are my least favourite tracks Wolves i have never liked a real homer track hated them having the British Final all those years.
-
I to preferred the Speedway Mail to the Star a very underated paper.
-
My ten favourite tracks Hyde Rd,The Old Abbey (not now),The Shay, Sheffield,Exeter,Ellesmere Port,Reading Smallmead),Leicester, the new Belle Vue ( awesome).

I think Chris has been very wise this year as the format now allows Danyon/Connor to be very competitive. They will riding against some riders that they have already beaten in the NL and at home i think both will be fine.Away from home it will be a learning curve for both of them.Hume i think will do well at home especially,Mountain also has real talent it will be harder for him though as he is coming back from a bad injury.

Thought so "Col" was hoping Bewley would come in on a 2.00 is it now 3.90? as his PL average is 4.00.I dont think you can have Williamson (he is improving done well) and another 2 pointer it is not strong anough.Bewley would hold his own and home and at times have to be carried a bit away he has to be in this years Belle Vue's side for me.
-
My favourite ten NL riders of all time are (no order ) Owen bros),Jackson, Etheridge,Woods,Thommo(later years) Dugard,Lawson, W.Brown, R.Hunter.
-
Thanks BL great stuff.😆
-
BL can't remember if it was you or Dave who put on the head/ head records of Golden Helmet match races and other races between CRAVEN and FUNDIN.? Any chance i am doing a memorabilia pictures results and reviews on both great riders.😆
-
Is that not harsh Steve?surely he should be a 2 pointer i hope it does not cost him a place.
-
Fricke,Cook,Worrall,Worrall,Auty,Williamson,Bewley.has Bewley got a PL average? he should be 2.00 is he a 4.00 pointer if so would it be over the limit.?
-
Steve as your memory is spot on the money can you remember at Oxford in 1978 at the end of the season Oxford v Supporters Select.? George Hunter,Pip, Sheilds Hack (ect) v a select and i can remember Holloway scoring 10 at reserve. Also remember going to a NL England v Australasia test match as well.

I really enjoyed the old NL i see quite alot of NL stuff over the years with the Owen brothers, old stagers Etheridge,Jackson,Sage, a nice blend of young and old riders.Do any of us think or believe that when the Rasmussen/Schroeck situation arose did that really have a massive effect on British speedway long term i believe it did.
-
Bewley for me is quite away ahead of Shanes and certainly Nielsen before he got injured he had a mega month had a great meeting at Somerset guesting i think?) The only concern is has Bewley got the aquipment and back up to do two or three leagues i hope BV he stays with you maybe carry him i think he is a hell of a prospect.
-
I dont think there is a right or wrong Iris i enjoyed watching both Morton brothers Chris is one of the most exciting riders i have ever seen.
-
Forget 71/86 after Dave broke his leg he was never the same again that is what you are forgetting.
-
Funny really because a few of us on here said that Charles was at least as good if not better than Newman.Good luck to Charles i believe on better kit he is capable of improving more in the future he is great value as well.
-
I was not trying to prove a point at all, but you have not answered the point of the 76 year? will you give Dave credit for that year.? Dave was terrific for the Hawks that year i have always said that Chris was the better rider but Dave in that one season was on fire.SHADOW of his brother NO Dave Morton was a very good rider in his own right did you see him for Hackney Iris.?
-
My point was that Dave was not in Chrissies shadow for those three seasons 1976 Dave averaged over 10 i think Chris averaged 9.53?.Chris we all knew he would go on to great things but my memory in that 76 season when i saw Dave ride he was flying.
-
Iris Dave Morton before he broke his leg at Hackney was never in the shadow of Chris in 76 Dave averaged over 10 not bad. Chris who i admired greatly had a great career but Dave before his injury was no mug certainly not in his brothers shadow.
-
Can't believe Bradley has missed out on a place would of loved him at Swindon.Just hope he gets something sorted out before March, it will be a shame if he can't carry on with the progress he has made in the last two seasons.
-
Dave Morton was only in the shadow of Chris after he broke his fibia which basically finished him as a top class rider. At Hackney Dave was superb and for me was a better rider than Chris up until he broke his leg.
