    Plymouth 2019

I was in the pits when Scott was at Kings Lynn in the NL. He has a great influence on the younger riders, calm but positive, he is very dependable and on the track he gates extremely well. I have seen him demolish the field when conditions are dry and in the wet he is in a different league to most NL riders. His preparation is fastidious and he is well worth the average. For home meetings he will be travelling a huge distance to ride....look after him guys

    Kings Lynn 2017

Fairly much, yes. I think KLYS are about developing riders for the future benefit of the club. Not all will remain and some are excellent catalysts to bring on young riders. The benefit of Scott Campos to the youngsters , etc, gives them invaluable help. As with all clubs who have two teams there is not the necessity to win the National League, crowds will never match "one team" clubs so support is inevitably reduced, however I agree with Gordon Bennett that KL will, as a club, have certain riders in their future plans. Josh and Nathan have improved with their PL experience and that 3 point system will bring on riders for the future of GB speedway. Also not all riders may wish to return and with Tom leaving there will be one place, at least, for new blood to add to the side.....interesting times.

    Kings Lynn 2017

This is a good little team and lets hope that 2017 is a good year based upon solid foundations in 2016: I hope for Josh Bailey - injured at the end of the year but very fast and a top heat leader, PL and EL experience. Nathan Greaves - carried the flag a the end of the season with Josh out. Good solid heat leader. Scott Campos - great captain and was gating and scoring very well at the end of the season. Ryan Kinsley - can be in and out of form but on his day very fast . Shane Hazelden - lets hope he recovers from a nasty injury - holds the reserves together and valued Tom Stokes- a real shame to see him retire, need to replace with a quality rider Taylor Hampshire and Lewis Whitmore- both very young and need bringing on slowly NL racing at Kings Lynn is often better/closer racing than the EL team, I do hope that people will support these guys in 2017.

    Scorpions 2017

Good to see Rob G. stating in the news that he would like the same 1 to 7. Certainly riders who want to ride and give of their best. Obviously averages need to be considered. As a Lynn Fan also, I would like to see Wilko and Josh B forming part, and if a number 1 is wanted then I do hope that Rob is speaking to Mr Schlein before he is snapped up. His experience and knowledge would be invaluable in the pits. MPT was on fire as a guest for Lynn at the highest level. A solid basis is there for a very good outfit. Best wishes for a successful 2017.

Birmingham V Kings Lynn 3rd Aug

Well done to Birmingham, KL boys will have been trying their best but this shows the disparity of teams in the league. Chances are at home on Friday KLYS will show very well against the IOW side (with all due respect to them) which will indeed confirm the difference in sides ....

Birmingham V Kings Lynn 3rd Aug

KLYS do not have the best away record but have been very fast at home, apart from against Birmingham I think Birmingham will win but they will need to be aware of KL's ability if it all clicks 15 points from Josh last week and with PL experience now at Scunthorpe. Pocket rocket. Ryan at 2 will need to get it together tonight Scott is reliable and will need to get everything working well, a good team leader Nathan - needs to show what he can do, on his day is a very fast, hard rider. Rides PL with Sheffield Tom - experienced now in PL with Peterborough, could be the dark horse Lewis - only 15 but rides the boards and is not intimidated by main team riders Shane - at 7 will be very useful, this season has really started to show his ability Will be interesting......

King's Lynn Vs Kent (nl) 06/07/2016

I was stood on bend 1 and the visiting Kent fans there were an absolute credit to their club, and to Speedway in general. Obviously disappointed with losing heat 15 but gave due credit to the young stars.

What a cracking meeting, fast and fair , hard racing by two good teams. Nathan and Josh stealing a result in the last heat. Credit to both teams.

King's Lynn Vs Kent (nl) 06/07/2016

Will be a very interesting meeting. KLYS very good at home and should give a strong Kent side a good run for their money. Would be hard to predict. Look forward to a fast and safe evening.

Kl Young Stars -v- Cradley 07.06.16

What a good nights racing. Credit to Cradley and well done to K Lynn. Some excellent racing, expected riders doing well but all credit to Lewis, 15 years old and picking up points, confidence building.
  11. Looks like a very good meeting. Weather should be much better than the mudbath -v- Buxton (cannot be worse). Layne has moved on and we wish him well and hope that he fulfils his potential with Cradley. New young signing with experience of the track but will need the advice and help from Scott and Shane to guide him. Expect the usual around Lynn from Tom, Nathan and Josh. Very sensible of both managers not to ride Layne tomorrow. Look forward to it. Woops should be 8.6.16

Kl Young Stars V Buxton 25.05.16

Perfectly put by Mimmo, horrible out there as the rain was not heavy but fairly constant. Credit to both teams for their efforts. Interesting to see the different styles used to try and cope with the track. All credit to Buxton for hanging in there. All safe.

Kl Young Stars V Buxton 25.05.16

It will be interesting with Josh B and Ryan K being paired together at 1+2 . Both have come through the ranks together from Grasstrack and through the MDL with Kings Lynn, great to see home grown talent flourish, who knows maybe in the Stars team together sometime in the future?? Scott at reserve opens many possibilities and will help Layne too.
