What is a real shame is that Lakeside are running without a No 1 and sadly no AJ.
I really thought that Cookie would really go for it and get a NAME in to make tomorrow interesting.
I would have gone tomorrow, but now I really do not see the attraction at all.
I felt the same as you when the news of R/R was first announced. The more I think about it however it's clear why it's been done. Out of interest who do you have in mind who will come in and guarantee us a job as good as AJ would have done?

What bright spark at Lakeside signed Nicholls as a guest and gave him an evenings practice before Belle Vue come next week ?
One that wanted to ensure Lakeside actually made the play offs, before worrying about who they would face
"Even the world number-two struggled to get around and that told its own story but we didnt adapt to it and they did"
The world number two who struggled all the way to 15 points, not to mention the last to first win in heat 13 (which was the ride of the season in my view - and trust me there has been some amazing rides) ?

Bryn, are you likely to be posting weather updates today from trackside?

I can't see that this meeting can go ahead. At present Rain is forecast from 6am to 5pm tomorrow

I will put my rod away now, very rarely use it..
Not having Tai in the British Final is terrible, whoever wins it will feel deep down (I would think) that if Tai had been there, they wouldn't of won it..
It's happened before when riders have won meetings when one or more superstsar has been absent, it's been talked about on here in the past as well, can't remember which thread it was though..
Do you think Tai feels like this because Emil is choosing not to ride in the GP's?

Can't see lakeside getting anything from this one, but a point would be handy and give us some confidence going into future away meets. I watched the clip on the British speedway site where S Worall came from last to second, and I must say what a stadium and racetrack you have there. Well done to all at BV, most importantly the fans that have stuck with it over the last few years - it's totally been worth it.

Is there any reason why people are suggesting that Lewis Kerr will dump Lakeside to get back in at KL? Surely he would have dumped Ipswich at the start of the season when KL decided to change race night, if that were the type of person he is?

Feel for Leicester, tough times. As other posters have mentioned this happens to all teams, but it really is a tough situation for them. I don't see where they can turn to in order to strengthen up, which is definitely required in order to keep the remaining fans. You can't blame fans for staying away in times like this, parting with your hard earned just to see your team lose is not going to keep people coming back. Having said that Leicester have been putting in some encouraging performances at home, which from reading the Leicester threads is keeping fans happy. Hope they find some viable solutions
Good performance from the Hammers tonight. Some encouraging performances, mention to Eddie with a good score on his return
Wolves up next, this will be the real test

[quote name="ouch" post="2788066" timestamp="1464419679"The scores need to be close down there to maintain any kind of interest due to the racing on offer.
Fingers crossed for both.
Ok this is my first post but I have been reading the forum for years. Ouch, are you speaking as a lakeside fan here or someone who has been to Arena just a few times in your life?
