Although banned, there is currently no test in Speedway being used for detecting titanium and exotic alloys, the scrutineering in GP's is basic to say the least and would probably shock most people. Titanium is as strong as steel but 45% lighter, so when used in engine components, it can make a massive difference. Tony cheating? No I wouldn't say that, he is superbly talented and by far has the best overall package, but his advantage mainly comes from his equipment...... Like most champions, his a boundary pusher.

Not a very good one probably as we still remember his "incident" with Norris at Wolves in the test match. Should be a interesting match with him riding with & against two members of Team GB and also his team mate Louis, who also said he was wrong to do what he did.

I'm only about 5 mins from the track and the weather is superb, hazy sunshine with a nice gentle breeze.

I can confirm that after a team talk including Joe, it was agreed that Gary would replace Joe for the final at Poole, a track far more suited to Garys style as most people agree, Joe will of course be there giving that lads his full support.
