A message from Brendan, Unfortunatly i have had to pull out of the boxing due to having a weekend in France Booked for the Rugby 6 nations game. I initially said i would box in the event, but did say i would need to confirm the date when they found one. The date was put to us all this week, regarding when it would be, there was no option to move the date of the event due to eastbournes press day being the day before. This left me unable to fight, i am sad to read childish comments from people on here over a charity boxing fight that was all for a good cause. Good luck to the guys still able to do it, i hope they raise lots of money for ricky. I will be sending my contribution up with Ricky Neale (Spares Man) for there press and practice. On another note Northern Monkey... Seems a few of us know this fact then.

Jesus what is wrong with people, Ben has never been given the chance to progress, unfortunately along with a number of other riders around his age chances have been given to foreign riders in the PL above the likes of Ben it is only now that chances are shared around in the higher leagues. Perhaps if they had of been given these chances earlier we would have a better team GB and the sport would not be on its ass.

With so many spaces left to fill in all the teams what riders are left out there to fill them?

Brendan did indeed win the inter class and I believe jason Doyle won the main with Max Dilger andTy Proctor the runners up but I must admit I wouldnt put my mortgage on which order as I was celebrating with Bren. But those three were stood waiting for the awards

For everyones information I can assure you Britains top scorer was not well happy with only scoring 5 points, but was well happy that because everyone thought he shouldnt be out there that he was the top scorer and may silence a few critical people on here, also on this occasion the £250 from the BSPA was received by the riders before they went. People who post on here are fully entitled to their opinions but please dont post things you have heard as most of the time it probably wont be true. As Neil posted earlier all the boys need track time but more importantly for someone like Brendan is help with engine set ups from experienced people, it took someone from the Danish squad chatting to Brendan who told us to change jetting before his last ride which did help as he was against all the meetings top scorers and finished third nearly pippng second. I believe all of the boys that went on this trip did so because they were proud to fly the British flag and to gain invaluable experience, I honestly believe that all the boys did the best they could on the day. thats my only posting on this topic but if you want to know anything regarding how Brendan or I feel please come up and have a chat when we come to your track. Pat the only thing i can say with certainty is that at twelve Chris has got bigger b@lls than me already cos i wouldnt get on a 50cc with no brakes let alone a 500 . I know what we spoke about earlier but after such a long day and so many unneccesary miles see how you feel after the weekend. All the best(and you Chris) Dave Johnson
