And Kings Lynn is not exactly small either.

Like I said earlier Douglas lot better then King round the NSS and scored lot better then King would have.
obviously Doyle was missed but 4 of the Ipswich riders were very poor

Just now, ThinBlueWitch said:NSS is a lovely set up and a nice track which has been great for British Speedway. But it’s a typical soulless modern GP style track. More overtaking on the straights then in the bend and is entirely reliant on who has the best equipment and set up.
How’s the sour grapes? Stop talking rubbish, so Emil has crap equipment then? And Dan Thompson has the best equipment in Ipswich team?
The track may be easy to ride but takes a lot of skill and bollocks to be fast round it.

Just now, Hilly said:Stated on the night that no facility was allowed, said the same yesterday at the Chargers home meeting.
The normal facility wasn’t allowed, the 75% guest was allowed and Oxford stated that.

Yet better racing in last 2 heats than there was in 15 heats at Leicester last week.

8 years and we have the best track guy in the country, you can’t stop the rain! You can add water but you can’t take it off!!!

Another damp very grippy track leading to fast times but poor racing. We not had a dry meeting yet .

Like old days tonight, 4 Ipswich riders wearing race jackets. The guests are understandable but why Sayfutdinov and Jenkins not got Ipswich race suits?

Maybe you should go ask Ryan Air why one plane was delayed and one wasn’t?
Lidsey was at airport at 5am getting flight, if it had been delayed/cancelled he had time to make other flights.

18 minutes ago, stu219 said:No statement needed. What was Jason supposed to do? His flight has been delayed by 5 hours. In normal circumstances he would have been out of Stansted airport by 1pm and then a 4 hour drive to Manchester getting him there in plenty of time. It was bound to happen at some point with a flight delayed . Jason is the most loyal rider to British Speedway and I would think you struggle to fine any other time that this has happened which is a miracle in itself considering the amount of flight delays that happen. It could have easily been any of the other riders who were flying in today if their flight had been delayed.
it seems as if Tungate didn’t even get to the plane which is hardly the same as being at the airport and suddenly your flight is delayed.None of the other riders have been delayed as none that stupid to fly in to Stansted at 1pm. There is an airport in Manchester you know.

lidsey in same meeting as Doyle last night is over here already.
looking at flights. Doyle’s flight was due to land at stanstead at half 12. Get out of the airport approx 1pm then got a 5 hour drive in busy traffic to get here. What a weird way to travel to Manchester. Something fishy.
also they get a facility of 75% of his average. Why did Oxford not get this last week or did they not want to use that facility.
Would never fly in to Stansted at that time to get to Manchester, that was to go home.
Oxford did get the 75% last week but clouting was only one available at short notice. -
Ryan Douglas guests for Ipswich, lot better round NSS then King.

Ipswich could get stronger using for example Douglas, Masters etc.

In Manchester we suppose to be in the middle of the band of rain moving south and we barely had any rain at all, it’s very windy.
Made decision to set off about 4.30, hope we don’t have a wasted trip.
-
Looking at several forecasts all show rain from around 5pm to 9pm, not small bit of rain either, big band moving south down country. Can’t see how it can be on although frustrating with a dry day.
-
Adult tickets bit more then I expected but it’s the kids tickets which are ridiculous barely any cheaper then adults if at all.

Workington didn't have to get new land, that track had been there for 20+ years as a training track.

SoN2 been expanded to 8 teams and 28 heats to fit Great Britain in as hosts.

The problem is every meeting has a practise same day so thats equivalent of 8 meetings over 4 days which is a lot of wear on the track.
