I think you must have been watching a different meeting? there was plenty of passing from where I was watching the meeting?

The consistency of the 'gate' positions are always up for question...but it also has a lot to do with how the rider handles the first 2 bends on approach! (there was a race win from each gate last night...albeit only 1 from gate 3 :) )

If riders did/do a track walk, then they would've seen where the dirt was/wasnt? they wouldn't need to have to ride it to find out?

Pawlicki going down gave BV a 2nd bite of the cherry, had he stayed on B'ham would still have won! ....may be he thought that the race would be awarded?

Would like to know why it wasnt? the refereeing has been poor this season! Why no warning for Kurtz moving at the start?

Hoping Brennan/Worrall can pass a bit of 'track set-up' knowledge, when B'ham visit BV next week!

I thought you said multiple times the weather would win?

Need heat 1 at 7.30 then & not 7 50 like most Tv matches cut the inane chat & adverts.

The tv broadcast starts at 7.00 tonight instead of the usual 7.30 so should start on time.

weather doesn’t look too bad to me, 50% chance of light rain later  and will be dry all day so track should easily be able to take it?

You make some great points. I'd like to ask a question for those 'in the know'. I went to SWC in Wroclaw last year (incredible trip, would highly recommend) and the two semis and race off were pretty poor by what I had expected from that track but apparently it was to preserve the track for the final. I don't know if that's true, but if it is then is the NSS in a similar situation?

The problem is every meeting has a practise same day so thats equivalent of 8 meetings over 4 days which is a lot of wear on the track.

NSS is a lovely set up and a nice track which has been great for British Speedway. But it’s a typical soulless modern GP style track. More overtaking on the straights then in the bend and is entirely reliant on who has the best equipment and set up.

How’s the sour grapes? Stop talking rubbish, so Emil has crap equipment then? And Dan Thompson has the best equipment in Ipswich team?

The track may be easy to ride but takes a lot of skill and bollocks to be fast round it.

And if it had been Lidseys flight that had been delayed and not Jason’s?

Maybe you should go ask Ryan Air why one plane was delayed and one wasn’t?

Lidsey was at airport at 5am getting flight, if it had been delayed/cancelled he had time to make other flights.

No statement needed. What was Jason supposed to do? His flight has been delayed by 5 hours. In normal circumstances he would have been out of Stansted airport by 1pm and then a 4 hour drive to Manchester getting him there in plenty of time. It was bound to happen at some point with a flight delayed . Jason is the most loyal rider to British Speedway and I would think you struggle to fine any other time that this has happened which is a miracle in itself considering the amount of flight delays that happen. It could have easily been any of the other riders who were flying in today if their flight had been delayed.
it seems as if Tungate didn’t even get to the plane which is hardly the same as  being at the airport and suddenly your flight is delayed.

None of the other riders have been delayed as none that stupid to fly in to Stansted at 1pm. There is an airport in Manchester you know.

So Doyle’s flight is delayed and can’t get here.

lidsey in same meeting as Doyle last night is over here already.

looking at flights. Doyle’s flight was due to land at stanstead at half 12. Get out of the airport approx 1pm then got a 5 hour drive in busy traffic to get here. What a weird way to travel to Manchester. Something fishy.

also they get a facility of 75% of his average. Why did Oxford not get this last week or did they not want to use that facility.

Would never fly in to Stansted at that time to get to Manchester, that was to go home.
Oxford did get the 75% last week but clouting was only one available at short notice.
