    Moto Gp, 2 And 3

At last normal service is resumed at Silverstone this weekend. It's difficult to try and predict the next few months, but I expect it will be a mixed bag for the second half of the season. Moto2 hopefully will go to the big prospect and Acosta will avoid any pitfalls and take the title in three months time. and with luck Dixon will be up there again. Both Ogden and Whatley put in decent times in Moto3 but their seats in the team must be under severe pressure. And to complete the weekend it's the start of the real football season. With so many changes in managers and players it should be an interesting start to the promotion races.
  2. thanks for that Ozzie, it's near impossible to keep up with the way that they change things. Thought tonight's was best speedway I have seen in donkeys year. Lucky you to have been there to witness it.
  3. Adam can be well proud of his silver medal, second place in the World Cup is no mean feat , be nice to think it might be Gold next year, and Tom certainly wasn't disgraced riding in such a high quality field of the best riders in the World. Thought Jack has continued his improvement and was superb tonight until his fall.
  4. Congratulations to Poland Lambert, Bewley and Zmarzlik for me the cream of the crop, It seems towards the end we made a few naive decisions in races that cost us dearly . Ellis and Brennan can hold their heads high, they've done their best. There seemed to me to be a definite change in the track after the halfway mark. and we just didn't cope with it in the second half. Best meeting I've seen for a long long time and to see the great man there as well made it a night to remember
  5. Seriously well done Adam, could be crucial points.
  6. It will be different tomorrow night, imagine what people would be saying if the track is crap tomorrow night after five days of racing and practice, got to keep slick to hopefully get better tomorrow. Why worry , only two teams in it tonight.f
  7. I missed Tai's comments on the track, but I assume he may have said it's too slick and not like the track he races on every week. Well if that track has got to survive over eighty top class hard races over five days then I would expect that the track is going to need a very hard base to withstand the rough treatment and whatever weather the track has to contend with.
  8. What baffles me is why we have to have two team managers. It's purely a recipe for indecision. It isn't as though they have a packed fixture list to manage,

  11. Congratulations to Dan, a well deserved victory and from last to first, got to feel sorry for Vaculik who looked like the winner all through the meeting
  12. Last few seasons lindgren has become a very unpredictable rider, but that was shocking, time fo him to get a ban and miss a GP he is a danger to the others, .

Looking forward to another good scrap in the sprint race in a few minutes time. Good to see Fabio going a lot better this weekend, lets hope it continues in tomorrows race. ps So Fabio finishes third but may lose it if Binder appeals. The margins have got so tight now in motogp life gets difficult for the guys at times with track limits, at least it's good to see the man and Yamaha doing better. Hope it bodes well for tomorrow.
  14. Brilliant final heat with Cierniak missing the gate it gave the others opportunities to win the round, but it just seemed to be a night when Cerniak could do anything he wanted. Hope he goes on to win the series.
  15. He really seems to have made big strides this year whenever I've seen him race. He seems full of confidence and faster and is by far the best on show tonight. It must be racing with the World Champion every week.
  16. I certainly didn't see that coming as Adam hasn't shown his best form this season so far, a few more heats like that and he'll be well on his way
  17. it's called doing a "Doyle" I do believe
  18. Doyle doing his sliding off trick again

Hopefully Frigbo will see these posts as he is the fountain of knowledge on this thread. AS well as Per Olof , commonly called Peo, wasn't there another Soderman of the same era also involved in speedway ?

Another superb Sprint race today. It really adds more entertainment to the Saturday programme. Sad to see Miller and Quartraro crash out, especially Jack as he was going so well this weekend, and Fabio had dragged himself up from sixteenth on the grid to eightth when he lost it. Should be interesting tomorrow with Bagnia, Marquez and Marini on the front row. Highlight for the Brits was Lowes on pole in Moto2. It seems to me that no matter how much BT big-up the two Moto3 lads they seem to be going backwards this year, especially young Ogden. It won't be long before Anna Carasco is qualifying ahead of them.
  23. Brilliant heat 13 pass from Bewley
  24. Smart bit of team riding by Michelsen to get Drabik past Pawlicki
