    Brian Woodward RIP

I'm sure Brian also did a lot of grass track in the Wales, Hereford and Bristol area . He had a machining/engineering business in the Cwmbran area at one time, he did some valve seats on a Jawa for us once. He and Tim Stone put in a lot of effort for Newport Speedway, now all sadly gone.

    Chum Taylor

There is still a road off Penarth Road called Stadium Close where Cardiff Speedway was, by coincidence my father worked for Hill's Transport in the 60's whose yard must have been partially on the old stadium. Queensway Meadows Stadium, Newport is now unfortunately also a transport company yard. Going off subject a bit.

    Chum Taylor

I remember supporting Chum Taylor, Mick Holland and all at Cardiff Speedway, Penarth Road but as I must have been only about 4 or 5 years old the details are not very clear. I have followed Speedway and Grasstrack in one way or another ever since.
