Thanks for that reply Kevin and hope things get sorted.

Who do I need to email about with regard the racecard font size and lines in the £3 programme as they were terrible. Very awkward to see in the dimly lit stand.

Can anyone enlighten me of the connection between Matthew Pinsent and Suffolk/Ipswich?

Very disappointing. I just hope that enough fans stay with the club to make it to next season.

I am happy to have focused Heeps. It isn't the lower order/reserves I am worried about.

Robert Lambert was relying purely on ability and looked to have hit a wall in progression. Thus until his time with Woffy in 2017 and during the 2017 winter break dedicated himself to health and fitness. What a change he was in 2018, a totally different rider.
Speedway today is a different animal to the beer drinking socialising mayhem it used to be.
To be at the top, you have to drop ya mates and train bloody hard.
There are some very very talented young rider's in British Speedway but unfortunately they get to caught up in "having fun" outside Speedway rather than the dedication needed to try and be the best they can be.
Ahh, the good old days

Any rain showers at the track?

Anyone who was at Foxhall will know there was only one possible decision. Got to feel for Berwick though.

I posted this back in April . Perhaps the fan knows more than I gave him credit for!!

Is it still the next 3 matches or the restaging for use of the rain off ticket?

With both Captains seemingly in agreement its not, the disagreement would seem to be between the Ipswich promoter and Captain. Thats two weeks in a row Ipswich has been rained off which may be more to do with their efforts to get it on.
Pity, we could have done with some practice on a small tight track with a visit to the 0131 next Friday.
Last week there was no chance of any racing but the match wasn't called off tonight due to lack of effort by the trackstaff and CL to get a rideable track.

Why?

Better on a smaller track.

Liked the way He introduced the riders and worked with Mike Western!

Feel for Connor but a change of home track will benefit him in the long run. Does that now mean that Drew Kemp will get a average for next season?

That's what everybody thought!!

Just looked, where was it?

I thought Mr Long was on form and very entertaining (as was Covatti)

I thought last night was one of the better meetings. To my untrained eye, there appeared to be less shale than normal. Shanes made the inside work, Covatti made the outside work and Schlein made it all work! Never thought I would say this but the volume of the music needs turning down a tad. Shame there is no home meeting next week.

Whoever thought the "less is more" was a good idea needs their head testing. People will get out of the habit of going and how is Hartel meant to improve as at home without track time. Same goes for Cam as He could do with track time against Championship opponents to get His confidence back. This season so far just hasn't got going and needs to very soon.
-
Oh for the days of 25 - 30 home meetings a season.

BBC weather has a slightly wet evening. Typical after the fine week.

Hope Rory can be bothered tonight as his attitude seemed to change after a cracking first heat.

Such a shame it isn't being ridden on Friday.
