all this fuss over signing up promising reserve , pity cant spend more time where it really matters we have a great number one , one good 2nd string and two promising reserves , One heat leader brought in who never rides cos hes elsewhere and the remainder are garbage simply carried on from the record of running down a once top professional club , they are amateurs with very little idea , you may as well concede next weeks tie ,there will be one man and a dog watching , even without england game National league next year as that's the level of professionalism from these clueless clowns

As much as the team last year was woefully weak and had the biggest bearing on attendances it is no doubt the overall product has been on the decline , dull presentation and very poor track preparation have given the impression rightly or wrongly of a tired or disinterested promotion . At the very least the promotion have rolled the dice and subject to confirmation have come up with i believe some very good signings in Stead , Wells and Haines , a safe option at home in Hall , who like it or not is entertaining at home but really needs improvement away but this is unlikely at his stage of his career and the others are quite a gamble , for even one of them to show a reasonable improvement will be a huge bonus Where last season it was patently obvious to ALL , even i suspect the promotion as well , that the side was poor and lacked any real interest for fans , on paper at least the proposed team at least suggests an element of interest and potential . Maybe it is the last roll of the dice and the last chance saloon before Machin sells up but it at least is worthy of giving it a go this year

The Crowds didnt go because the team assembled was garbage , we told promotion before the season , during and after but still they took no notice and frankly got what they deserved. Sunday is a non starter for me , if its all about changing the race night because of wanting steady , then thats a nonsence also look elsewhere , its not as if hes that good in any event hes a Elite league 2nd string , so no guarantee of being an out and out number one . But the promotion will only do there own thing so probably sunday it will be I can hear the stories now = "crowds are disappointing " , riders are not wanting to ride as riding abroad etc etc

will there even be a next season , after the farce that has been this year The club has been going downhill steadily for some seasons now but this has been abysmal , some of those riders dont deserve to be riding in a sheffield race jacket, why on earth Richard Hall was brought back other than he was cheap is beyond me The promotion need to start looking at there own club before being too interested in BSPA shared events Disgraceful effort by the promoters they owe all the supporters a public apology and must put together a team capable of challenging for next year or call it a day

well the super star aussie boys are not going to be able to rub britain's noses in it because they didnt make the final !!! They werent good enough monday night on a track they like and can race on they certainly werent going to do anything on that pile of crap tonight Olsen was a world class rider , but as a promoter and track curator hes clueless Maybe a few more people will turn up to watch on saturday Heres hoping the Poles turn over the Danes but dont back on it being much more than a gate fest I know which meeting most speedway fans will prefer of the ones seen so far and its not just because team gb won A speedway track needs dirt so riders can race , a few more british promoters need to take note of this too before they kill the sport further

ricky ashwprth won the meeting as he was the best rider on the night he top scored in the qualifyers and won the final beating ward twice on the way so he can have few complaints of the other riders howe rode very well , proctor i thought was steady not spectacular special mention to william lawson who gets better every visit , worth a punt for next season Mr Machin !! nice to hear the " sporting " lynn fans being as generaous as ever must be something in the water down there there is no realhoem track advantage at sheffiedl these days and tbh ricky hasnt been that dominat at home this season

Stoney pat it , on the wane? Believe me his performance around sheffield this season was right up there alongside Ostergard and Lyons

what it needs is to bring back JC and make him speedway Supremo !!!!!

troy batchelor arrived at the stadium about 5 mins before it was cancelled as i was sat in the car in the car park and saw him arrive so dont think hed known about it for a long time if you ask me annoying as it is and i know there are several riders who pick and choose when and where they will turn up but it doesnt really help to be passing comments about riders when you have no idea why they are missing !!!! we should be asking what is the point of these meetings ? the riders dont want them , a lot of the promoters dont want them so frankly why bother oh the FANS , they might be interested !! why worry about them , they are the las tpeople to think about

basically other than Richardson we dont have a rider than can gate fairly consistently Nicholls and Harris race hard when conditions suit but harris is nowhwere near the rider of last season whether that is down to injuries or bikes i dont know the answer Stead and Allen are no more than very good Premier League riders As for tuning and set ups etc , explain why it is that poles and danes and swedes and aussies all seem to regularly have the right set up etc for any meeting and british riders never seem to think the answer ir more about attitude , confidence and ability , we are way behind most nations in all 3 categories and frankly it was a disgraceful performance by GB Good premier league heat leaders like Nermark and Rymel were showing our so called GP riders , how to set up and how to ride maybe Tai and Ed Kennett will improve attitudes on thursday but if u think that was slick wait til you seen vojens its never seen dirt , we will be lucky to beat the russians Woeful display We want a determined performance , no more excuses , show some pride in your country and more important show some bottle !!!!!

dont believe too many people outside of Kings Lynn will be too bothered by JC deciding to step down whilst he has had some ideas , i am afraid too many have been half baked , not properly thought out and certainly at premier league level the qualification system/ or not has been a complete farce remember craig watson being allowed to ride for glasgow last year without riding for them while other clubs werent even allowed in to organise any competition , full rules and regulations need planning well in advance and too often JC threw toys from the pram when anyone dared to criticise the shambles he had arranged with the asistance of the Bungling BSPA JC and BSPA a match made in heaven !!!!!

am amazed they even bothered going to Kings Lynn again after the mess they made of it in last years ELRC to be watering a track at 6-30 with the weather that was forecast and around the country yesterday shows lack of common sense , how can the promoters then complain when the rain comes and the riders dont want to risk it there have been several serious injuries all ready this year most of them in reasonable conditions there is no way the riders are going to risk injuries for a mickey mouse competition like the pairs , theres no interest in theses events as has been continually proved by riders dropping out they run them far too early in the season , but that because before polish leagues and Grand Prix etc - dont they ever learn The " Boy Wonder " will be spitting dummy out again because he wont get his own way makes your heart bleed Never mind JC you'll have to move League riders form sheffield again to make up for it !!!

Its fair to say that following on from the 4TT farce the events of last thursday was another kick in the face for Speedway fans Clearly JC enjoys the publicity and limelight and dolly birds on the arm for photo shoots when all is going well , let have a PUBLIC explanation of the farcical events of this meeting I remind you it was moved from sheffield with no explanation why and no statements allowed by any party , leading to all sorts of rumours and conjecture Then we have the farce of thursday night , half the riders not bothering to turn up , the track was set up shambolically and he was the so called Director of the Superseven series but he just stood around with hands in pockets Clearly another example of a person who like the plaudits but cant or wont get his hands dirty , stick his head above the parapet when it goes wrong and take the FLAK Please , please , please will somebody get hold of British Speedway by the throat , shake the hell out of it and lets get it sorted once and for all , we have a great product , there is a solid fan base , yes true, much better in some places than others but we cannot and will not be dictated to any more by riders , you toe the line or ride abroad !!!!!
