Thanks, weather forecast looks a bit dodgy though so will decide tomorrow

In Oxford tomorrow, can you pay on gate or do you have to pre-book tickets?

If it's Poole? lol

It can rain somewhere and a few hundred yards away be completely different weather.
Last season people moaned about late call offs
Now they moan about early ones
What else do you expect from Poole fans?

Kyle will be very busy then!

You're easily pleased lol

Don’t understand why you’d go a whole season with Trigger pretty much out of his depth at reserve, then not use him the next season when there should be some benefit?

Staggering that so many give the attention he craves lol

You’re dead right there, nailed on 8 points unless they don’t lol

Just to clarify my previous post wasn’t criticising anybody, just pointing out for the neutral spectator it wasn’t much of a watch

For the supposed pinnacle of British speedway, i.e. play off in the top league, I have to say this was no showpiece whatsoever. The racing was pretty much non-existent. I understand Witches fans not really worrying about that but it certainly aint going to attract any new supporters. I gave up before the end.

In that case Douglas would have scored a maximum surely?

And by the way, Pirates are in their place.
Consider yourself suitably patronised lol

Poole is without doubt the most trolled club in speedway. Success obviously breeds contempt.
Personally I prefer to block the major trollers as I refuse to give them airtime, however fellow Pirates supporters are free to do as they wish and respond to whom they wish. That's the whole point of a forum my dear fellow.
Surely one of the all time classic posts pmsl

Looks like the Plymouth team change was pretty inspired management!

Come on , he said the whole stadium saw it, got to be true lol

24 minutes ago, cinderfella said:Maybe the meeting was meaningless as far as the competition goes but for fans paying hard earned cash all 15 heats mean something especially to travelling fans.
Heat 15s continue to be a joke as top riders are continually not being nominated or declining to ride in it.
Time to go back to the old 13 heat formula imo and have 13 heats that are meaningful.
There's an idea, give even less value for money!

according to Arthur's comment Poole are the best team in speedway lol

Think I'd put Belle Vue & Sheffield above them lol

Go and find a phone box to start a fight in!

6 minutes ago, Skidder1 said:What 'fortunate position' is that then? Oh yes, being able to guarantee that riders will be paid on time and as per contract! Thats why riders want to ride for Poole.
Shouldn't every club be aiming to do the same?!
Poole fans really are a strange bunch. There was no criticism intended, lighten up man lol

31 minutes ago, Bojangles said:Who cares if it is underhand? It's a business, and that ruthless approach is one of the reasons that has made Poole so successful over the years (as much as I hate to admit it).
It's as much Plymouth's fault as it is Poole's if they can't keep hold of a rider. If it was illegal I'm sure Plymouth would have been straight down to their lawyers.
At the end of the day money talks and Poole are in the fortunate position of being able to offer more than most. Good luck to them.

Thanks, although it’s more a case of wanting decent weather to watch speedway, especially with those line ups lol
