    King's Lynn 2011

http://www.edp24.co.uk/news/alan_partridge_returns_with_north_norfolk_in_his_sights_1_710328 North Norfolk Radio presenter .....Now who could that be based on ? (clue you get him most Wed nights at the Norfolk Arena)

    King's Lynn 2011

I guess it depends on which Lambert turns up. For sure he was flying, judging by his scores, at the end of the season. However on the flip side he also got the sack from Scunny and also acheived a 3 plus average for a reason.

Interesting point that. Could the BSPA not just take back the license, as they did with Ray Mascall at Mildenhall ?

    King's Lynn 2011

Tel, i want the best of both worlds Kerr to stay on a 5 plus, and Bjerre to be reduced by a point. If not I guess replace Davies with Lambert.

    King's Lynn 2011

Will young Bjerre we on a 6 or 7 point average ? I think he only did 11 meetings, but I am sure riders have been re-assessed without reaching the required 12 meetings. If Bjerre comes in on a 6..then I would go for. Doolan Bjerre Kerr Schramm Topinka Roynon Davies

Why have people been "banned" ? Seems a strange set up, banning people who want to spend money with you.
  7. Did Pawlicki win the meeting in Poland ? I am not sure if Shovlar has mentioned this point yet.
  8. Looks the strongest team The Young Stars have put out all season.

    Tamworth Saxons

You should have got Steve Evans and his infamous brown envelopes involved MV

    Team Place Tim Webster

If Mark Jones is on his way home, why cant they just sack him and bring Webster straight back, after all he is available for the rest of the season ?

    Mildenhall Speedway

I remember you did Simon, but that was at a different level. Surely Speedway must be sustainable at National league level, on gates of around 350, with the help and safety net of a few well meaning supporters ? has anyone got a figure on the current debt going forward ?

    Mildenhall Speedway

Is there no chance of something along the lines of fans trust looking at taking it over ?

    Mildenhall Speedway

Has there been an official confirmation of this yet ?
  14. Will this debate continue for much longer ? If so I think i will start selling popcorn.
  15. OK, lets just assume you are right. Name these 9 heat leaders who would be willing to come and ride in The Elite League.
  16. A little question for Stevie Shovlar, If 2 Premier league teams moved up to the Elite can you tell me where the extra 6 heat leaders would come from ? Or would you be happy for the current league to be diluted even further ? ( ok thats 2 little questions ?) Sorry my maths is not so good. You mention 3 teams moving up so that an extra 9 heat leaders to find.
  17. Team Man ...I watched some of Sky coverage when i got home. You could certainly hear "Dont Stop believing" ( Journey) a few times when English riders won.
  18. For sure Shazzer, but they have to start somewhere, and without the 2nd tier to learn their trade in, where would they have gone ? Sweden, Denmark Poland ? To reply to the question on the size of the crowd. The local EDP paper gave it as 7000
  19. Now oh wise one, remind which League Messrs B. Pedersen, Holder, Watt, Ward started their British Speedway education ?

    Plymouth Changes

MV maybe Santa will bringing you one for Christmas. Although Im not sure Lathams sell them. Now if it was a sump for a Mk11 Cortina, they might be able to help.
  21. Whats that I can smell, ? Is it Horse ? Nope...is it Cow...nope....I know, Its BULLS4IT
  22. This is going to be a walk in the park for the Aussies. Poor call to go to KL.....Quote of Steve Stovlar 22nd July at 8.39 News at Ten. The oracle comes unstuck. (once again) The Big question is, Did Stevie think of that all by himself or did Matty tell him to say that ?
  23. I thought West Ham Utd were taking over the stadium once the main event is all over.
  24. Forgettng about the final, its nice to have a litle bit of GB pride in Speedway for a change. To have 7000 fans at Saddlebow Road was awesome, back to the days of the 70s, when it was almost like that every Saturday night. Big congrats to Buster, that was a fine looking track he prepared, and i know how hard he worked on it to get it looking that good. Also to Mike Bennett, is there a better Mic man in Speedway ? Throughly professional throughout. Now to the main t stars of the show, the riders. The GB Team Spirit was there for all to see. Bomber you were different Class, as was Scott, the others weighed in as well. Freddie Lingren was awesome, how lucky are Wolves fans to see him every week ? The one rider who surprised me was Jonas Davidsson, has he ever seen Saddlebow Road before. He was different class. After all the criticism that The track at Kings Lynn has taken over the Premier league years, I hope that has put that one to bed once and for all. Top riders on a top track = entertainment. Also all credit to the Young Aussies, who put up a fine fight, Chris Holder, as always around Saddlebow, was superb. Darcy gave it his all, I dont think Lee Richardson can expect a Xmas card from him. Troy also raced his socks off. All in all a great nights entertainment.

    Michael Lee Book

Found this an excellent read. I wonder whether his other 3 children and his ex wife were asked for their views ?
