Of course Roger would pay. What’s 20 quid to a man like him. More a principle at stake here. As I understand it that was the reason Mrs Roger stopped going. Not sure if she now attends again or not.
Just great to hear a man like Roger still keeps coming. I hope I still have that level of enthusiasm when I’m his age.
Where would the Sport be without the likes of him.

I can’t believe Buster gave anyone any say in how his business is run. I would suggest Allitt might have done the leg work but the yes or no on each rider came from one man.
The amazing thing is that Buster and Dale, both being experienced Speedway men could look at that team they had put together and think it had anything other than a wooden spoon look about it.

Saturday’s sure were a good day. Once a fortnight Up the City to watch the Canaries. Grab some food ( King Beefy was a favourite). Pick the Pink Un up then a dash over to Saddlebow.

How many times can a promoter use the ‘use it or lose it’ plea in a season.?
If it’s not sustainable and a promoter is not prepared to fund it out of his own pocket then it leaves only one course of action.
Would it work if it was fan owned ( either full or part) ?
