Says the person moaning about people moaning. See Tel it’s very infectious

In fairness Ivan Toney would be better coming to Carrot Road if he has Premier League ambitions

Surely it makes sense for people to bring their own food and drink in ? Would help offset the admission increase

With only 1500 tickets ( less riders, mechs staff etc) must be close to a sell out by now.

It’s on the website. As is the £3 for a programme. I guess both can be purchased using cash

With Lynn admission at £20 and P’Boro under the same umbrella will their admission be £20 or will the supporters there have to pay more as there is rent on the stadium to pay ?
-
For me if it was entertaining I’d pay £20 plus. On the flip side the way Speedway is at the moment if it was run in my back garden I’d drawer the curtains. In other words you couldn’t make it cheap enough.
As someone who started watching when the Lynn team consisted of Betts, Simmons, Cole, Crump, Crowson,Humphreys ( who was the other one ?). I would never have missed a Saturday night. Including all the fill in meetings.
oh to feel that way again- 1

I cant really comment at my time of life my programme has quite a few E/F listed
At least it keeps my average down for the following season

Such a shame because as a Sport the excitement level is immense. You know 15 times you have something special about to happen. It’s like having sex 15 times a night but it only lasting a minute.
Nothing new there then Ippo fans

I think this is one of best rules to have been launched. All Ippo fans to wear masks. Should have happened years back. . Hopefully full Face ones.

Hasbro have launched a new Yo Yo that only goes up now. They are calling it the ‘Farke’. For the less challenging user they have launched a far inferior product called the ‘Cookie’

Let’s not forget all those poor strikers who have not seen the light of day all season as they have been kept in Grant Hanleys pocket.

Was responding to others suggestion of £20 with or without a booking fee.
Maybe it’s an age thing. 20 notes maybe doesn’t sound that much to the younger Speedway followers. For me being older old git 20 quid just for admission seems rather expensive. It makes a trip to Saddlebow costing excess of £50 for me.
-
Jesus, Mary, Joseph and the wee Donkey. £20 to get into Saddlebow for Speedway. The World’s gone mad.
I wonder how long it will be before the ‘use it or lose it’ cry will go out.

I’ve probably missed it but what have admission prices been set at for Saddlebow for this season ?

Apologies to all you football haters but this is special times to be a Narwich fan.
Recruitment was poor last time around. I think the club said they had made the Premiership a year ahead of when they ideally wanted to be there and the finances weren’t in place to spend on the squad. Plus there were a lot of young uns who weren’t quite ready ( Lewis, Godfrey, Arrons, Cantwell to name a few). This time I think they will make more of a fist of it. The real big issue is how many of the players they need can they keep hold off. That’s the big challenge.
As for Speedway, I so want to fall back in love with it, but they don’t make it easy. Maybe a strong start to the season will rekindle the interest enough to give it a look.

I accept that but how difficult would it be for speedway promoters to have a quick clean of the facilities before a meeting and make sure soap, big roll etc is replenished?
Big Roll ? Are the burgers that bad these days
Saturday night should see them clinch promotion. I think in all the years I’ve watched The Canaries I don’t recall a total Football side like this. Ok different era’s bring different styles but this season has been something else.

Well there’s always the less risky choice of taking a ‘wild wee’, blob of hand sanitizer. All sorted.
As for prices I seem to recall in Football. If for example a Club gets relegated out of the Premier League to the Championship prices do fall. I’m sure Baggy can confirm ( or otherwise) as at Carrot Road it’s a regular occurrence, but not next season hey Baggy

Was the guy Kilby doing the commercial job at two Clubs in 2019?
Surely with two clubs you are after different sponsors etc as they are different catchment area’s.
So Robin Brundle. What’s the story there. Gone or involved ?
-
I see Richard Knight has been appointed Commercial Manager at Saddlebow. Is Robin Brundle is involved at the club ? Not seen his name mentioned for sometime

These rising stars of the future that seems to be creating the only excitement ( god knows why as they are predominantly cheap fill ins) what age are all these riders ? I’m guessing Ryan is around 22 so been at it a good few years. Micheal Lee was World Champion before that age. What was Robert Lambert achieving at 22. ?
-
Maybe it’s my memory letting me down but I seem to recall Saddlebow was never high on Bridger’s list of fav tracks. As in he struggled to get to grips with it.
Wonder if anyone has his most recent scores around there.
