    Darcy Ward

Just seen Woffinden's latest video on his twitter, featuring him giving young children snus through the window of a car while waiting for Ward, with Holder and Batchelor. What wonderful role models.

Not saying Niels hasn't written himself into Lynn folklore, but the debacle over his Danish fixtures has taken the gloss off over what would have been a near perfect season for NKI as a Star. Would certanly love him back in 2014, but can't see any GP riders bar Woffy riding in our leagues. Schlein seems to divide opinion, he will be back in 2014 that of which I'm sure being a KL asset, but I'm still on the fence over whether it will be deserved as his mid-season form was dreadful and infuriating... tied for me with Steady's injury as being one of the main reasons we failed to reach the play offs this year.
  4. People on Twitter treating Bridger like a hero for not actually touching Lambert... making out that Bridger took a step back through his own choice. Not the case. Kerr's intervention prevented Bridger from headbutting Lambert, otherwise Bridger would have been in serious hot water. It is quite clear the aggressive intent Bridger meant by his actions. Don't need his sort around in an already dangerous environment.

What on earth are you on about? Norwich City have naff all to do with predicament Lynn and speedway currently finds itself in. Beginning to fall out of love with the sport, depending on how the winter goes with regards to rules and league structure, I may spend my money elsewhere in 2014.
  6. Lewis Kerr has improved immensely over the last year and doubling up for Newcastle seems to have pushed him onto the next level. He is an example of the positives of the doubling-up system, and I would love it if more British riders followed suit. I hope you are right and he does make the grade, there's been too many riders, especially British riders who are happy to settle in the PL and not push themselves and their equipment to EL standard. I hope Kerr is ambitious. It's always special for a team to nurture their own talent through to the senior team.
  7. I'm going to be brutally honest. There's probably two factors why people don't attend National League meetings at Lynn. Firstly, Lynn have never had success at NL level. Different sport but look at the backing from Norfolk people with the Norwich U-18 side in the Youth Team Cup run. There have been remarkable attendances in support of our youngsters and in turn it provided an experience most of these players will never forget. The key to this was the marketing approach with the games being constantly plugged on social networking sites and cheap ticket pricing. Season ticket holders had free entry if they applied for tickets before a certain date and for the rest of the public admission prices were £2. Both sports provide a chance for spectators to watch young talent develop but if it was a toss up between which one I would attend, I'd be at Carrow Road every day of the week. Simply because the pricing makes sense. I used to attend Boston meetings a few years ago when they were spearheaded by a trio of Lambert, Haines and Darcy Ward. All three were massive prospects back then, and you knew from just watching Darcy for 4 laps that he was going to go far in the sport. It was a unique experience watching such a precious talent in his earliest days of development. This has been lacking ever since, no disrespect to the current Lynn NL squad, but there's no buzz around any of them potentially becoming a key rider for the senior team in the future. If Lynn showed ambition and signed an up and coming Brit, like Robert Lambert then attendances may improve and there may be some real excitement around the place in watching another prospective superstar in his development.

They haven't been able to use them all in previous years and were fine with loaning them to other clubs, so why now the sudden want to sell them all? Never said he hasn't been offered a contract, just been reported in the press Andersen has too and has rejected them twice because he has no intention of riding for them.

Why didn't Peterborough cause this much fuss last year when we loaned Iversen and were successful? My belief is they're wanting to sell as many assets as possible as they will not be able to survive in 2013 on attendance figures. I wonder how Kenny B feels with the knowledge he's competing for a place in the eyes of the promotion with a rider who has stated he isn't interested in riding for Peterborough in 2013 (Andersen). Plus, Peterborough are complaining about certain promotions accusing them off certain ambitions. On what basis is saying that Schlein was illegally approached by King's Lynn, not an accusation? All as bad as eachother, no wonder British speedway is such a state.

Would appreciate it if people would stick to posting about King's Lynn (or even speedway) in this thread, thanks.

I'm offended Clearly, there's enough people who want to discuss our future so this is worthy of a thread.

It's about .4 over at the moment, but like others say there's still meetings to ride in 2012 so a chance averages will decrease.
