The Sooner this cretin is out of the sport the better.

The only cretins are those that are effectively calling for a track to be closed as there's not exactly a queue of would be promoters to take over if KC bails out (particularly if you discount those with big mouths and shallow pockets that seem to abound on this forum).

Interestingly there's rarely any mention of other blatant call offs (such as Poole v KL when a furrow was "accidentally" ploughed across 1st bend due to Janowski missing that particular night)????

You lot can say what you want but we all know that Chapman and co shafted us..and now they have rubbed our noses in it by poaching all our ex riders, manager (never liked him anyway) and other parts of our once great track. I am done with Speedway and I hope Kings Lynn fail badly.

Hope you get a great crop of Lemons this year.............. cos you are sure going through existing stock at a considerable rate of knots!!!

Now who's being thick Rathbone was the one who sold it to Chapman !!!! ,

He also said if no one came in to buy it , the Panthers would of still run in the championship that year

So what you are actually saying is that Rathbone thought he had a hold over the whole Premier League ................... until KC called his bluff !

Looks like Rathbone really had the interests of UK speedway at heart ...........................NOT!

But Peterborough Speedway wasn't collapsing, it was up for sale. Wasn't the reason he purchased it, as chairman of the BSPA,to stop the TV deal falling through because of a lack of teams in the top division. And if I knew "EXACTLY" what you ment I wouldn't be asking you.

SO if it wasn't collapsing who else was going to buy ................ and if they ever existed why didn't they?

Answers on a blank sheet of paper please!

Yes you knew EXACTLY what I meant (notice the spelling) and you weren't asking ............. you were telling me.

It is his fault though, KL wouldn't be in financial bother if Buster just let Tomalin complete the Holder deal, KL's future being plunged into doubt is mostly based around the Holder fiasco at Tomalin when you look at the bigger picture.

Tomalin would have covered the finances at Peterborough therefore Buster would only be paying for KL riders instead of 14 KL & Pboro riders.

KL wouldn't be in the alarming mess they're in because Buster would've just made two changes to get the team back within his price range after Brady bailed and it would've been business as usual.

Now Buster has been left paying for 14 riders that he simply can't afford due to falling out with Tomalin, Buster now needs Tomalin to save his ass.

KL are in "this alarming mess" on account of Alex Brady pulling out (don't know the circumstances so won't speculate) .........KC has again picked up the s.....ty end of the stick as opposed to KL speedway immediately closing the doors.

Time you opened your eyes ................. Tomalin has SAVED NO-ONE.

If it's all so simple get yer cheque book out buy the whole enterprise and put matters right............. you'll be sitting on a goldmine!

Chapman was the owner a couple of years ago, so this falling off the face of the earth would have been down to him? So if he created this "falling off the face of the earth" scenario why would anybody want to get involved and why didn't he close it down then? Anyway wasn't it a couple of years ago Peterborough won the play off final. With all this falling of the the face of the earth they must have had an intresting season

Being bloody mindedly picky does you and your stupid argument no favours whatsoever.................... you know EXACTLY what I meant when I used a "general term" of a  "couple of years ago" as you full well know I was referring to the point when KC took over the reigns at P'boro and effectively prevented its collapse at that time.

NOW show me your list of those willing and able to take it on at THAT time?

So, to be clear here. Regardless of what's on offer everyone should rock up a support the team?

Didn't realise that the "equation" was up for manipulation so as to embrace any point of view?

People do whatever they choose to do .................. BUT when speedway pretty much disappears in UK (apart from a bit of amateur stuff) then don't moan!

I'm (almost) ashamed to admit that I hardly bother with live speedway nowadays (so I'm handing you ammunition) as its in such a bad way here in UK and I have extremely fond memories of how it used to be through the 70's and early eighties............... time to move on, I'm afraid that nothing lasts forever (sadly)!

Out of interest what makes you say there would be no speedway at Peterborough without him?

Simple ....... provide me with a list of would be promoters that were about to pick up the batten when P'boro speedway WAS about to fall off the face of the Earth a couple of years ago?

I think your answer will be a blank sheet of paper?

The overall sport is in the current situation due to many of those involved over the past two decades in particular..

Many of whom, I am 100% sure, have their "hearts entrenched in Speedway"..

    Capability, however, isn't an emotion..

Whilst I don't disagree with what you say, lets look at the equation from another perspective:-

Capability + Lack of Involvement = NO speedway         (simply put ...... those with "capability" aren't [now] interested in speedway otherwise they would be involved?)

So Chris is more in the know of the happenings at Peterborough than Carl?  I don't think so.

Were you born stupid or is it something that has progressed with age?

You and two or three other Panthers idiots (apologies in advance to the decent P'boro supporters who thankfully are the vast majority) have taken every opportunity that you've been able to engineer over the past several months to blame KC for everything you can conjure up in your tiny minds!  I'll be the first to agree that KC  don't get everything right (no one does apart from you and your like)............... but make no mistake there would be NO speedway at P'boro OR KL without him.

Because he can't cope when it comes to running two clubs at once, KL and Pboro can't even be competitive for the first 4 Heats let alone the full 15.

Buster can save more than 20k if he gave the club away as he wouldn't have to pay the wages for Peterborough's 1-7 anymore which would be of interest to him imo.

You are so generous when it comes to giving away other peoples assets !!

So Josh is a liar? Is that what you’re saying?

What I'm saying is that people are selective in what they tell you .............. not necessarily a case of telling bare faced lies but rather the omission of some selected information can radically alter the context of practically any issue.   Hence my comment about hearing both sides ............... more often than not the whole truth often lays somewhere in the middle  (having spent 30+ years as an investigating officer I have plenty of experience listening to "versions" of events............. thankfully now retired).

He wasn’t though was offered less as buster couldn’t afford to give him what he was previously on.

I take it, from your inferred personal knowledge, that you were actually present whilst said pay negotiations were taking place?

You're absolutely correct but incorrect. She went totally by the rules, 100%. That doesn't mean it was a good decision as most referees are advised that if rider's are unchallenged by an opposition rider to award heats & that happens 9/10 times.

As you say ....... 100% correct according to rules............. so the decision is exactly that 100% correct!

This was probably the most undeserved away win that I've ever seen ................. it's all well and good that Dickson states that KL benefitted by the TS in Heat 14 ....... bottom line is that KL woud not have needed it ............. it was obvious that the Leicester lot couldn't get anywhere near Laguta therfore most likely outcome....................................... Heat 13  3-3 (Laguta to win)  Heat 14 (as programmed) 3-3  ..... Jorgensen got a paid win as it was!     Heat 15   5-1 to KL courtesey Klindt & Laguta       .......... final score (should have been)  45 - 45 !

Anyway it's all academic ............ KL's match loser was Erik Riss (as I thought would be case as soon as he was announced as guest).

British speedway is slowly dying. Such a shame for the sport in east anglia

Slowly dying ..... yes absolutely, but not just over the last 5 - 10 years as many now seem to think !

Take a look at how many teams were competing in DIv 1 and 2 around 30 - 40 years ago ....... British Speeday had its "time in the sun" during the 70's - 90's and has unfortunately been in a state of decline ever since,  soon to be nothing other than an amateur sport in UK.

if a fit Pickering or one of the other top 5 would have been reserve rather than lambert then the score would have been closer . From now on your just  have  weak reserves .  Riders under massively underperforming at Kl tends to be  a recurring theme i wonder why . Look at Kerr . Ask yourself why  that is  happening ?

    If.........If.........If.........  ?????

Yeah right ........................... IF KL had scored more they would have won............. but only IF the moon was made of green cheese!

Kerr was absolute rubbish for KL because he had become too comfortable (complacent) with his "guaranteed" team spot year in year out .............. dropping him acually woke him up!

  17. 1 hour ago, orion said:

I do ..the old team was a lot stronger and could at least win at home..this side is going to get smashed home and away ..Weak reserves now as well .

Absolute rubbish .............. the "old" team lost at home to Sheffield by very nearly the same margin only 5 weeks ago!  (KK 9pts .... same as Artem & S Lambert (guest) 4pts ... same as Thomson)!

Problem with KL is Jorgensen, MPT and Jakobsen who are all massively underperforming.
