I see on the updates that jake knight has a suspected broken ankle so don't think he will be riding this afternoon unless he makes a quick recovery! Do anyone know who is going to replace him? After watching Andy mountain the other week he looked very fast in the Anglia development league may be worth a shot instead of r/r

It's a shame that Tom stokes has broke his wrist as he was looking good at the end of last year, but we can now unlease Lewis rose. Am really looking forward to watching this rider progress.

There is one thing for sure mr rose will not be shy going into the first bend! The bspa should advertise in dirt bike rider for free practice days around the country for motorcross riders as they seem to take to our sport fairly quickly and unless you are right at the very top you can't earn any money out of the sport unlike speedway, when you look we have had Ritchie lawson, Craig cook, Lewis Kerr, now Lewis rose etc all coming over from motorcross and they all picked it up quickly. just think there may be future world champion out there. I see tony Briggs said at tourn gp that he took a top polish motorcrosser and he got the hang of it really quickly and rekons he could ride polish league after a few more sessions. Billy Hamill is looking at doing it in USA. So why don't the bspa give some free rides to these guys in Britain to see if they like it.

I have heard that Lewis rose should be getting a reserve spot, sounds a real talent on a bike was very highly regarded in motorcross but never had the money to compete with the big work riders. Kings lynn signed him up on his first pratice. He just went through the card at a meeting at Scunthorpe after only 5 practice sessions on a speedway bike! Which sounds pretty impressive to me. He just needs some backing and I think he could go along way.

I dont know if there has been a thread started already regarding this but i think sky should jump on the band wagon here if darcy gets a gp place and add chris holder to form team sky. they have team sky in cycle racing so why not give it ago they could be the new hamill and hancock.!!!

i know they were sponsored by exide was using them as a example! and dont sky show cycling on skysports so cant see why it could not be done

i think they have had a few big problems to deal with at the football club so speedway has been put on the back burner

well i think they should run a meeting of kingslynn stars and former stars vs a select team with some riders in mind for next year kingslynn 1 mads 2 sitera 3 masters 4 parker 5 allen 6 doolan 7 sanchez select team 1 harris 2 eklof 3 Mikkel Michelsen 4 howe 5 woffy 6 Martin Vaculík 7 Maksims Bogdanovs now i think that would be worth going to watch and we can see some talent with a view to getting them to sign for next year

i think he's the best young oz rider since crump. batcherlor is very good but can not come from the back like holder. he is the only rider to go into turns 1 & 2 on the inside like he does, to be able to take topinka, doolan just to name a few from the back makes him a very special talent as there are not many riders out there who can do that to topinka!!and lets not forget it is still his first year . give him 3-5 years and he will be in the top 5 in the world!

he is a young american his last name is browne thats all i know. should be interesting watching him race as i have to shut my eyes when he is out by himself, he has the balls its just the control is not there yet!
