Good to see Werner in the line up - he did a good job for the Wasps at home - regularly scored good points. If he gates, he usually won. Be good to see him back, and even better to see him do well - good luck to him. It's heartening to see the promotion giving him a chance to put himself back on the scene. Looks like a good line up - hope the weather is kind to us.

Ahh, the stuff that legends are made of :-) Good meeting today, real shame about the crash, and I hope Kyle's injuries don't affect his plans. Some excellent racing, and was glad to see Sam get some success, he's been excellent entertainment value with his never say die attitude. Good result for all his efforts this year. He rode really well in keeping Fishback behind him.

Thanks for the comments Bill. The crash sequence was probably my lucky timing, thankfully no rider seriously hurt. Frampton can be seen in another photo being "moved" over. Good rides by Lemon and Frampton today, facing some top class riders - long may their form continue. Pity the Fryer was unwell.

Hi Another weather update I was hoping the meeting would be on this afternoon, I live in Neath and the weather is usually westerly. Therefore the weather that I've got now means that Newport will be having soon. Its 9.20am and there are strong winds with heavy frequent showers at the moment. I've decided to give the meeting a miss due to the travel time and distance. Hope this helps

Umm... I was there earlier tonight, just logged on to see some of the chat. My first time at the Millenium Stadium, must be a case of the tv not reflecting the action. I thought it had some excellent races, sure it would be better at an established speedway venue, but where are you going to get that many fans together to watch a GP round. I enjoyed it, and Jason Crump, for me was taking the agressive attitude one step too far. The last exclusion showed a sign of desperation and a lack of respect for the other riders. They should all know how far they can go without taking really silly risks.
