guys guys guys please play the percentages!!
Lindback has about as much chance of winning a GP as Scott Nicholls, face the facts it isn't going to happen this season maybe in years to come but not this!!!Nicholls did well last night and was well on the pace but once again I doubt for one moment he would of got into the final let alone win it!!
In betting you need to play the percentages, anybody who has had a bet over the last two GPs and has a knowledge of speedway must surely be in credit and showing a wealthy profit,if not then back to the drawing board i guess!!!

for me there a re a couple of MUST bets!!..with Hills you can bet on each heat,i strongly fancy Trick to win heat 2 at 6/5 and him to win heat 19 at 11/10 which would roughly give a 3 and bit double!!
The other two small bets I am interested in are Crump at 7/2 with Hills and Nikki at a big 8-1 with Corals!!
Get on folks you know it wont grow in your pocket!!!!!

No my bet of 25/1 on Hans was definitely for the GP win. After his performance in the GP though maybe my bookie was cleverer than I thoughtmust be one hell of a bookie then,he's either very brave or very stupid!!!...which bookie firm is it he works for??..as I will bear them in my mind for all my future speedway bets!

Ladbrokes showing Anderson at 15.0 (each-way 1/4 odds for 1st 3 places) , worth a tickle methinks .good call Ivan, looks a value bet to me!!
The other point we must take into consideration is the strong likelihood of the Poles practising prior todays "official" practice on the track!!
Still think Trick is a good e-w thieve, once the adrenalin is flowing he'll be just fine!!
Any of you bet on the heat by heat books?
-
if your thinking of a having a flutter then the following two should seriously come into consideration,
Trick, has qualified for the "A" final in four of the last six GPs at the track,at 5-1 is a major play for each way thieves!!
Hans, has home track advantage and is going very all season, another rider at a good price for the each way thieves.
-
Crumpie can go out in the first eliminator, but Trick still has too win it!!
One thing that is almost certain to happen is that Holta will end up on his arse in one of his races, the guy only has to see the clutch of another bike and he bails out!
-
dear o dear Steve, seems that the only guy choaking at the moment is dear old Tony, blown away by Crumpie when he was on gate one, fell by his own doing in the final!!
Tell me Steve who was the last Poole assett to win a world title?
-
Well done to Gollob, and to TRick for keeping the series alive.Gollob was simply awesome,Crumpie out thought TRick, but saying that at least it goes down to the last G.

Should we not be expecting a formal Statement by the FIM regarding what action they are taking to investigate suggestions that the race was thrown and for financial considerations? You my friend are talking garbage.
FlyinRyan,
do you think this sort of thing doesn't go on then,to be honest a couple of top riders were quick off the mark with there summary of events!

I'm passionate about my country and my country's sports teams.. I suppose thats a crime is it. I congratulate My Country's Speedway team on a great performance. only spoiled by some Dane using underhand tactics and all of a sudden I get a response like that from YOU!!I can handle the loss.. its the manner in which we were beaten that gets my back up.. I suppose your one of these.. 'oh well thats life' brigade. I'd love to see your face if someone at your place of work stitched you up with the boss and you got taken down.. I suppose you'd just shrug your shoulders and sign on would you?
We may well have lost that last race without the interferance of that Dane.. but the fans of speedway were robbed of the chance to find out.. Thats what the argument is about in the main.. he spoilt a fantastic tournament in just 10 seconds of one race.. And you dont mind that I suppose?
All I can assume is that if you were there, that you love having cheats waste your money.
Tomcat,
whole heartedly agree with your post if only a few more of us Brits had that attitude in day to day life, regarding being stitched up at work, been there and been sh8t on from a great height,it sure does give one a different outlook on life!!

I think you will find Sir Kelvin says he is easing off, but there is no way you can categroically say that you can see him doing it, he goes from first to last. PK is on the outside and has all the drive. One thing you can say though, is that Scott missed the gate and should have wrapped it up off the inside. Only one person knows if he eased off and that is Andersen. Get a grip and take defeat graciously.well FlyinRyan,
being off gate one was probably the worst one to be off,it didn't have the usual adavantage that the inside gate has,may I suggest you look at the replay of the heat Hans clearly looks right and clearly see it's a Swede and then takes a very unusual line for him going into a bend,he pins it on the line, now having seen Hans many many a time the guy nenver does that he alaways goes in tight and comes out wider than any other guy, thats why to me it looked so obvious in his tactics.
Good luck to the guy he probably had his biggest moment in speedway last night, but what goes around comes around and in time he will be in the wrong place at the wrong time!!
-
looks a great talent, but there are a lot of riders that are to say the least not best impressed with his antics on the track,I think Boycie summed him up in two words
"Dirty Bas*ard".
-
He was out of the final and could have just laid there, but No.. he ran down the track to try and get his bike out of the way and so trying to stop the need for the ref to halt the race..Looking at it from a cynical view, perhaps the sight of JC a mile in front with Hancock a million miles behind swung the balance!!
-
poor old Nicki, last nights tantrum will haunt him for a long time!!
The guy doesn't need to worry about what the guys in the studio say he should be more worried about the voices in his head!!
-
the one thing that I would like to see and I dont expect it to add extra people through the door1,is when the result of each race is given perhaps Sky could add the race winners time?
-
Thought the Fayre was good and interesting, although it was a little warm in there and being closely situated to the entrance to the stadium it gave us something to do before the gates opened without having to walk/travel far!
-
EmmaLee Richardson caps will be available...as well as Scott Nicholls....Leigh Adams and Jason Crump......Fayre starts at 10am...finishes at 5pm
Jaybea
do you know if the new Jason Crump caps will be on sale and on which stall would I need to visit to buy one?
-
Did anybody else have a bet on the GP,i cannot believe that Crumpy was marked up at 3-1?
-
Could be on a pay-to-view channel?
-
Its a real shame when folk take in other peoples rubbish, just goes to show that good old fashioned bullsh*t is still alive and kicking!!
Ooo by the way Flying ryan, why take the 7-1 on the Danes when 9-1 is being offered on Betfair?

here goes then,
The winner will either be Nikki Pedersen or Crumpie,I know it's a sweeping statement and many will disagree but hey-ho!!
Crumpie, consistantly gating well and being a man made track gating will be of paramount importance, plus in reality he knows he has to win it to put pressure on Trick.
Pedersen, goes well round Cardiff and dare I say it looked quick and more on the same planet at the last GP!!
Regarding Trick, the smaller, tricky, slightly unpredictable track will not be to his liking and will struggle to make the final,Cardiffs track needs more than just full gas!!
Crump,
N Pedersen,
G Hancock,
Any Brit!!
