tomato tomayto - I'd rather have Ben.. Has been in the main body of the Peterborough team this year whereas Zach is at reserve.

But of course, that was all fine!!
Sheffield made changes when certain riders were underperforming, Ipswich didn't despite many fans calling for King (at that point) and Riss to go.
Are Sheffield any stronger with guests than with Tai and Tobi, not on paper but could be. Are they any stronger than the first team put together, not really.
It is what it is!! Lets just hope for a great close final and may the best team win!
Massively.

I think some of you are interpreting for your own agenda. The post simply said "so we won't be going to Glasgow tonight...Hmmm" with a thinking emoji and then a rain cloud. It could simply mean so when will we be going as it has to be done by the end of Sept - if you want to know what he meant, just ask him!

Thank you Jack Smith for your 4 points
He was my rider of the night at Foxhall and did well at Belle Vue as well - as long as you can see a rider is trying their best, that'll do for me.

Belle Vue who have had a track built for them with no restrictions compared to Wolves who have to fit within the confines of a greyhound track and whatever their landlords decree. You may or may not know that in 1996 the greyhound track was being altered and the stadium was not available to us, so we had to ride the 'home' leg of the KO Cup final at Long Eaton. On match days we only have access to the the track late on due to greyhound racing in the afternoon. These are the sort of things that we have to contend with. Also as a Wolves fan you have zero right to speak on my behalf, so refrain from doing so.I hope that's clear.
Absolutely and I'm sure others feel the same - "my Dad's bigger than your Dad" is really childish.

He also admitted in a much more recent interview, that he’s still nowhere near fit and didn’t expect to be before the season was out. Absolutely bonkers by Ipswich not to make a change this year but they MAY just get away with it.
Makes you wonder how good they’d be if Riss was contributing the steady points he’s capable of and has shown in the past.
Time will tell.

He's ok if in front/there's no-one near him but will never try to pass anyone other than on the inside if they go too wide and if it gets close he shuts off. So to me that's a rider who's lost the nerve to win - riding not racing.
-
The Witches just hung on then but it was close. Racing ok but not brilliant (except Ht 15) but the scoreline drama made it exciting. Now it's the Premiership select side standing in the way of the double, a much sterner test now they have Lambert on his 2019 average.

I really hope he isn't anywhere near the team next year,,, even on a low average
Agreed, he's lost his bottle.

When will people understand, King NEVER team rides.

Just three wins for him and two for Doyle would mean the Aces only would have 10 races in which to win the meeting...
And that is without any heat advantage in those five...
So they could win by 22 on aggregate then

That's right, and so should Belle Vue have done at Foxhall but they didn't.

I know that but it doesn't change the fact that he's only beaten one rider of note, which was due to their awful start. Given the fact Ipswich have improved as an outfit recently, Rew and Riss in particular, I don't think he'd have score much more than the RR score.

Disagree on that. Wright has never been that great at Foxhall - yes, he beat our reserves and Riss there this year, not many riders didn't! He had one victory over Emil when Emil made a shocking gate and was in last and took a while to get past Brennan. Ipswich are stronger now than they were earlier in the year. As always, meetings are not won on paper and I'm really looking forwards to see how tonight pans out.

I watched the Phil Morris & CVS section and have been following the rest on here. I was surprised more was not made of the demographic - kids and Granddads, because 3G pitches or other 'leisure facilities' mentioned here and with Peterborough seem to cater for active participants, not spectators, young old and disabled.
-
Ipswich won by 18 at Foxhall so no reason why the Aces can't do that tonight - don't think R/R will hamper them too much, their reserves perform well at home.

King and Hume were poor at Oxford today, they will need to be better tomorrow for Ipswich to progress.

Well I for one hope he has a tapes exclusion and three e/fs

Sure, Eurosport love him. If not get Bartek to guest, his MA from Birmingham all those years ago allows it. Sorry did you say Sheffield, who are they?

Maybe not now as he's crashed at Scunthorpe (Rowe that is).

If Sheffield can have Kemp as a guest RS, surely Ipswich could've had Anders Rowe?

2 minutes ago, paulboy said:For the supposed pinnacle of British speedway, i.e. play off in the top league, I have to say this was no showpiece whatsoever. The racing was pretty much non-existent. I understand Witches fans not really worrying about that but it certainly aint going to attract any new supporters. I gave up before the end.
If the better riders make the start/first two bends what sort of racing do you expect?

3 minutes ago, Roger Jacobs said:The BSPA Office has confirmed that the Regulation does not state that a rider with an assessed average cannot guest, only a rider who does not have an Established MA. Robert Lambert has an Established MA from 2019.
So you can make it up
Surely that's why he's on an assessed average, because he doesn't have an established MA (because it's more than two years ago)? You're right, it's all made up and makes them stronger.

My recent score predictions have been pony but I had ES -12, JD - 9, KR - 5, ER - 1, DH - 1, JS - 0 and DK - 7, totalling 35 and an Aces win!
