Where I am (2ish miles away as crow flies) the rain was so heavy it woke me up and looking out it was monsoon like
If that hit the track I expect similar pictures to the May example
If so it will be significantly harder to resolve this time as it has been generally wetter and colder so underlying conditions not as condusive
No dry sunny and warm day to assist either
I'm right by Ipswich hospital. Our guttering overflows if there is heavy rain and it didn't last night. On my short drive at 6.30 this morning the roads were drying. There really should be no problems with the meeting today, it's still quite warm - or is that a rodent I can whiff? Forecast now show possible 1mm of rain this afternoon, which is really not a lot.

Dry day apart from a chance of very light rain so should be fine. We didn't get much rain last night and all drying up now.

28 minutes ago, Arch Stanton said:It wasn’t speedy, they posted that tweet on the Friday, showing the pictures of the track on the afternoon of race day a few hours before the meeting. Still don’t know how they got that meeting on! And unless my memory is playing tricks, the track rode superbly that evening.
Yep, my mistake, I misread the tweet Ipswich almost always play with a straight bat though so I'm expecting it to be on tomorrow.

That was the afternoon the day before though tomorrow it may be like that in the morning. Only just started raining.

added to say which is probably why he gets so many guest bookings - that and an ave that fits!
And always equally as likely to score poorly, as he has for Peterborough in their last couple of matches. Let's hope it's the former.

No! But it will make a big victory all the sweeter

Oh dear, Harris doesn't have a great record at Foxhall and would have preferred RR.

27 minutes ago, SUPERACE said:No there not we went proper racing, close scores don't mean great meetings, you won't grow the sport like that.
There was plenty of 'proper racing' in the British Final this year, despite the track being more difficult to ride than usual. Sadly, the sport has been in decline since the early 80s and increasing its popularity is all about marketing and the total offer, the actual racing has little lasting impact in my view - F1 is so dull from a racing perspective but maintains a large following.

Meetings are called off too easily in the earlier parts of the season with seemingly 'plenty of time' to fit them in. I like a meeting on an iffy track, always proves interesting, definitely upping the skill level required.

Depends on your forecast, mine shows only 0.2/0.3mm of rain for the rest of today, that's very little.
-
Don't think Thursday will be off, forecast good for Ipswich. Is this not on TV tonight?
-
I predicted Ipswich to get no more than 35, maybe now it'll be less

Its about peaking at the right time. Monday will be difficult for us i think, we need the polish version of Dan and to be able to cover well for Charles, also Brennan and Blodorn cant afford any inconsistencies. Doyley and Emil are certainly going to give Ipswich a solid base to build on, King seems to have hit a vein of form too. Can see Ipswich keeping it close enough Monday, Thursday is going to be a tough one for us.
The Aces have won at Ipswich twice this year I think and they should have enough fire power to win on aggregate - can't see Ipswich getting beyond 35 on Monday but you never know.

Why does it have to relate to an accident? Improved concentration, alertness, body strength/endurance, increased muscle can all impact on performance and is cheating if achieved through banned substances and that is something which should be prohibited.

Sheffield were poor tonight at Foxhall, fancy wolves to whoop 'em as well.

29 minutes ago, Aries said:Why all the cloak and dagger of posts being made on social media about offers being made, and then strangely deleted? Where is Tomalin?? Rathbone? CJ? Has any of them come out and said publicly that there’s a future still to fight for but Buster is putting kebosh on it all and won’t let it happen? Has any of those mentioned come out with concrete plans of what they’d like to fight for, what they plan to do and what is possible to achieve?
Nail on head

Well, he didn't at Sheffield so I got that bit wrong, 21 points at Foxhall?

I disagree Neil. When Tarasenko made his debut for Glasgow, his average was higher than when he was signed - to me that's what an ordinary Joe would call a 'false average'.
-
Glasgow getting in Tarasenko with a false average has made them into title favourites I think. 43-47

Where is Ged saying this in public? No good with the "he said this" if he isn't prepared to come out and say anything at all, it's just a rumour. As Chapman said, no offers in writing. If Ged disputes this then let's hear him.

From who? He says, publicly, that he hasn't. Your move.

Fricke will do better than Woffinden might have, especially at Foxhall.
