To all those who have shown concern and sent their best wishes to Daniel. We are pleased to say Daniel has not suffered any serious injuries and thankfully his leg is not broken - just badly bruised and swollen. Daniel was kept in hospital over night for observation and has just arrived home. The holiday in Turkey next week will allow him to rest. We would like to thank the staff at Coventry Speedway along with St Johns and the paramedics who took excellent care of Daniel, I would also like to thank the ladies who took care of Daniels two sisters so that we could be with him. Daniels only concern at the moment appears to be his next ride as his Dianese under suit and kevlars had to be cut of him and now resemble a pile of rags! Nicky (mum)

Adam was kept in hospital overnight for observation and the good news is that nothing is broken or damaged.He should be released this morning if fit. Phil

I think the helmett colour rule needs changing instead of different rules for each different leauge and plus they keep changing and the cost of them is a joke!!!!

I ride in in the under 15s and reading this about 80 cc we as riders know the consiquenses of racing that can happen.(injuries) I started out on a 125 then went to a 350.While I was riding my 350 I tried a 500. I didnt feel up to it so stayed on my 350 for a while and when I felt ready I rode a 500. If a rider didnt feel comfortable and confident on a 500 then they wouldnt ride it. The whole point of the under 15s is for young speedway riders to gain experience of the various tracks and set ups.Also an introduction to competative racing.Some guys are said to step on a 500 too early but as long as they take it easy and practice a lot then it will work.It did for me.

George came into turn 1and tried diving up the inside of Joe Haines and as doing this he clipped the kerb with his left leg and took a heavy fall.
