Oh Dear. Nobody said it was his only job, but the effect of hurrying the meetings up with no gaps in the meeting has been commented on regularly during broadcasts of meetings with statements like it was time the useless gaps were eradicated for the public. Get it.

In the meetings broadcasted on TV everyone knows that they never start at 7:30 and there are useless gaps for adverts and for showing the other meeting that evening, so not sure what he can do to improve that for the people actually watching the meeting live

That's one for the list for Mr Morris to sort out

How that sort of situation is dealt with will be a good barometer as to whether his input will be a success.....

So if is in the rules, but is advantages to Sheffield, he is useless, if it is the rules but goes against Sheffield he will be OK

didn't realise his job role included included making the rules or interpreting them

Surely it is up to the Promoters to vote agaist points limit coming down for  2024. Just look at this season with 40pts limit how many riders started the season on the sidelines Dan Thompson, Kemp, Bailey, Clegg, Wethers etc.

Would imagine that the promoters have already agreed the points limits for both leagues and the conference will just rubber stamp them

Surely Phil Morris has only been appointed as 'Chief Executive of Premiership Speedway' rather than the whole sport.?!

His main aims, certainly initially, were to improve the presentation (promotion?) by all Premiership clubs for Eurosport/Discovery TV.

I'm sure there is a Monty Python quote somewhere - "he's not the Messiah.....................?" (I forget the rest!)

"he's just a very naughty boy"

Ok I'll take your bet, please provide proof to back up your statement that Emil is adding 200 to every track he's rode at this Season?

There's this mistaken belief that the "Big Names" are British Speedways savours...yet to see it working as all they're doing is taking the big pounds out the Sport while they're allowed too.

Tai definitely added to the crowds at Sheffield when he came back

They decided not to have Jack back and made the team stronger overall. It is always preferable not to have a fall side!!!!

Jack was still injured at the close of the transfer window, he rode at Cardiff after the window closed, and even if he was fit i don't think his injury would have stood up to riding in all the meetings he would have had to in England, he looked in a lot of pain at Cardiff
