    1) the paying public feel short changed (again?)

    2) the junior riders miss out and wonder why they bother?

    3) the paying public wonder why there was a 25 mins interval between the meetings.

needs a good pits staff to get things moving along and known times for track grading and intervals. At Birmingham we achieved that and ran a slick presentation , had 10 min interval time for the kids to come out and have activities , ran MSDL 6 heats plus 125cc demos after heat 2, 4 and 6 and even had time for practice if we finished before the 10pm curfew . Just needs organisation and the right people in the jobs .

"The clubs have been split into two regional groups with Belle Vue, Sheffield and Wolverhampton making up one section and Ipswich, King’s Lynn and Peterborough in the other. The group winners will meet in the Final."

“It might only be three or four races, but the importance is to give track time to these lower-starred riders, the ones and twos, to add to their National Development League racing."

So each club will stage 2 home matches, that will consist of 4 races.  Whats the point of these riders travelling to a track for that? Most clubs could easily fit in more races if needed. Once they have appeared for their team will they become assets of that club? Also could these riders be able to ride for a club in each Group?

Just seems a half hearted attempt to me.... so perfectly fits with British speedway

think it will run under the MSDL 4 rider, 6 heat formula ---- perhaps the clubs could also enter the MSDL to give more track time??

Slightly surprised as i thought the Birmingham Bulls had jumped ship to the NJL trophy? I can see a selection of challenges happening but with no ghost teams, no IOW and no support from the BSPL who else is going to enter a side?

not jumped ships . Doing the NJL Shield with Redcar and Berwick to trial using all three cc classes over 9 heats . Did apply to do NJL as well as MSDL --with work going on to sort this league at moment . Birmingham will run 2nd halves every meeting .

  4. on sgb website :

WE are aware of a draft 2021 fixture list relating to British Speedway which has appeared on the FIM website.

However, we wish to clarify that this is a draft only, with several amendments expected pending Plymouth’s application to join the Championship and the withdrawal of Somerset.

A further update on confirmed fixtures will be issued in due course.

I’ve had this argument about air fences many times in the past. Whilst you don’t see the ‘fences lifting’ or riders sliding under them anywhere near as much as you used to around 20 years ago, I’ve never understood why the fences aren’t sunk into the ground 12” or even more and then anchored down to prevent that being an issue?

some of the new ones are the Briggo a+   are  ...Plymouth have one

    How about this?

In February I'll give you a sum of money equivalent to 3 quarters of the season's meetings. This gives me a card which grants me contactless entry. Once my credit runs out, you charge me for each further use of my card.

Okay, the promotion don't get any additional money, but they do get most of it earlier.

Birmingham had two levels of season ticket .for 2020 and will have for 2021   .....full season or a 10 meeting one

Because even though its the year 2020 there is no card payment facility  . i think the last time i handled cash was at a Brummies meeting in 2019

There will be card payment facilities at Perry Barr when racing resumes ( and would have been had there been racing in 2020)  . Peter Mason has sourced machines that do not require wi-fi connection as there is no such facility at the stadium .

  8. Arran Butcher has one  for sale I think

Brought this engine off Stevie Worrall in May with intention to use on the beach this winter, with the beach season being cancelled this year it’s back up for sale.
Recommended that it is serviced/ checked over, although it turns over well and looks fine from the rocker cover. I haven’t personally ran this up.
Just looking for what I paid for it. Collection Leicester or can meet at some tracks/ possible deliver?
