I would also like to post a belated congratulations to Hans Andersen. He fully deserved to win and I, for one, am very pleased for him! I think he needed the boost after the threats and missing out on a GP place in the qualifier. Well done Hans!

I'm also making the trip over to Gothenburg. I never like to predict who's going to win, don't like to jinx anyone! I'm just hoping that the meeting goes ahead, unlike the wasted journey I had last year! Oh, and some good racing would be nice!

I would LOVE to have Hans Andersen in my team and would pay to see him race at every available meeting. And don't pity me or whatever 'insult' you're gonna try and throw at me because I support Denmark and all their riders. And I'm proud of it.

Scorpio, He did create a name for himself when he was younger. But people are still seeing him as that same rider as I have said many times before.

Great weekend in Cardiff. However, the lady we were sitting next to managed to almost ruin the entire meeting for my sister at least. She is only a child and a big fan of Nicki Pedersen. I don't give a monkeys how much people loathe him, you DO NOT tell a child, who is a supporter of him, that you hope somebody knocks him off and he gets hurt. But apart from that, fantastic meeting and a fantastic weekend in Cardiff. Roll on next year!

People continually talk of how a thread is going off subject. There is no need for Nicki Pedersen to be mentioned in this thread. Hans Andersen is not a dirty rider. Rune Holta stayed on the bike for a good few seconds after contact with Hans, surely if it was Hans' 'dirty riding' he would have fallen off immediatly? Of course garf is going to defend the Danes, especially when they have done nothing wrong and it is simply the 'quick to judge' characters. Hans does not sound like a prat. You need to take into account that foreigners do not always use the most appropriate words as they are unsure as to the correct usage. Just bear that in mind. Rune sure as hell gave as good as he got.

Oh, and one more thing. I've obviously, inadvertently, upset you in some way because you're picking at everything I've said. It's obviously a new talent I've picked up from somewhere!

I'm not making a big deal out of it. You asked me a question and I answered. If he wasn't good looking yes I would still talk to him because I also take into account that he is a fantastic rider. Sorry if I don't fit your ideal package of a "speedway girlie". Rather stereotypical if you ask me! Don't take it out on me. You don't know me so I don't think you have the right to comment on my personality or on who I do or don't talk to for whatever reason.

Lupus, Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I fancy him. I regularly talk to him and regard him as a friend which is why I stand up for him against a sport mainly full of people who don't give him a chance.

Lupus, What more can I say other than you're a Wolves supporter and most of the Wolves suppoters that I've seen/heard have the same 'anti-Nicki' hat on as Sam Ermolenko. Midnight_Lady, Are you telling me now that if Nicki had gone over to see Tomasz that he wouldn't have been pushed away?? Tomasz has a very fiery temper and whether or not Nicki took him out I don't think that Tomasz would really have wanted to see him. Sounds like most riders to me. Yes, some riders are not like that but some of them have quite fiery tempers and they all do it. They'll shout at a ref if they get excluded for something they don't think is right. Do you honestly think that if his mechanics were that bothered about it, that they'd stay working for him?? Use your common sense please! And when exactly has Nicki abused his machinery? He's kicked a bike stand, yes. But when has he abused his bikes for example??
